Lights up my rear and
Haha Made you look. I have been driving without a license plate light for years. I don’t drive at night so luckily I’ve not been pulled over but this light was affordable and arrived overnight. I had a mechanic friend install and it took less than 10 minutes. I watched him do it and realized I could have done it myself. I’m legal now and my personalized dolphin license plate is visible at night.

Did not fit
Wrong plug thought I had the plug sorted out. They worked and my error light disappeared, but they did not fit in the hole. do not fit. Mk6 Jetta.

2017 VW GTI SE. Works great! No coding, just plug and play.
Took me all of 10 minutes to install these. No coding, no anything to make them work and also have no warning lights.These are quite bright, but I like that. It lets me see the ground in the dark when getting something out of the hatch.

Super bright LEDs
So far so good! Entirely plug and play and no light popping up. Before I got these I still had the regular halogen ones and the driver side kept wanting to go out sometimes causing the light to trigger on the dash. Even brighter when backing up at night in the camera some.

Perfect fit for 2015 GTI
Love the look and fit of these LED replacements. Only knocked it a star because they are almost too bright if that makes sense. I have a some random tint laying around and will probably try putting some over the LED portion to bring the brightness down a little. Still much better than the dull oem lights though. Worth the purchase. We'll see how long they last.
