fair
It's a very good radio, good FM, decent MW and SW, but not very powerful if you are living in crowded city. I replaced it by buying xhdata D 328. It's half for its price but performs, however, radiwow is very pretty looking, very good quality sound, and digital tuning with squelch and lw and airband. But you don't need LW and Airband in India, we don't have those broadcast unless you reside right next to airport. Chinese stations are very strong like CRI , therefore in India you won't be able to listen to world broadcast unless they are transmitted locally through Oman or sirjin or from Bangkok. My experience, you can receive limited signals if you are living in cities. In outskirts you might be able to catch more stations like voice of turkey, reach beyond Australia. Etc.Please research on shortwaves before buying a shortwave radio. SW reception depends of lot of factors, your location, propagation of waves targetted to your location, day night time, and weather. shortwaveinfo website will be helpful for you to understand and also download skywave schedule app. Mostly you will receive CRI radio broadcast from china, but find the schedules for BBC, voice of Turkey, NHK Japan, Reach Beyond Australia, and see when they broadcast targeting south asia. you will be able to receive signals more clearly when target area of broadcast is location of your receiver. Also, do not get confused, most broadcast like BBC world, NHK, CRI IRIB, Farda, are broadcasted locally from thailand, singapore, or iran. if they broadcast from africa or europe , you will most likely not get the reception if you are in India. see, schedules and study the target location of broadcast for better listening (day night variation too).Radio wow 108 is very good radio if you are at ideal location and ideal weather conditions. Sound quality is great, very small and sleek. easy to operate and tune once you understand user manual. Bl5C battery instead of AA or AAA battery may be turn off for many. But it seems like atleast for few coming years you will still find BL 5c batteries in the market so not much problem. Battery back up was around 8 hours. a very good alternative is xhdata D 328. less than half the price and performs equally.

Good except for the battery.
Much smaller size than expected which is actually a big positive for me as I wanted a portable radio I can carry everywhere. But for such a small radio the speaker is powerful and sound quality very clear.User manual takes a little time to understand but once you get the hang of it, then it is easy.I was able to pull in 7 FM stations with the telescopic antenna. And was pleasantly surprised to get 4 or 5 SW stations as well since SW is on it's way out as far as many major works broadcasters are concerned.Only issue is the battery and charging. It is a Lithium battery used which has to be charged by the supplied USB cable. Neither battery and the USB cable are sthe standard ones available in India so if either neither needs a replacement, it can be an issue. When most similar digital radios run on AA (Pen Torch ) or AAA (Pencil) cells, this is a negative for me since at a price close to the Rs 5000 mark, I purchased it for the long term and not for "use and throw". Also heavy duty usage of the radio will need frequent charging. But to sum up, if it was not for the battery and the charging, I would have given 5 stars.
