Is this game backwards compatible, for example the ps4 game working on the ps5 console

Yes I still play this on the PS5. Arkham Knight is a download code.. Just a heads up. Other two are discs

I know this contains city and knight.. but is the third game origins or asylum? description contradicts itself.

It's Asylum. City and Asylum are disc versions and for knight they give a code and you can download it. It all works brilliantly.
