Disappointing.
Based on advice of staff in the paint department of a major home improvement store, I was told I could use this to cover old wood paneling. I asked if I'd need to sand, they said no, just wash the paneling. Washed the paneling twice, let it dry, and after applying the first coat it dryed with the paneling stain showing through. Even after a second coat it was still uneven. This paint is advertised as one coat and stain sealing. Well, not in this case.

Needs good prep and two coats
I agree with the previous review. I used it without careful prep on my cedar deck and it looked bad in one year. I then sanded and filled as for several hours and gave it two coats. That looked pretty good the next year so I gave it an additional coat this year and now it seems to be stable and looks good.
