Ernie Ball Everlast Medium Light 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, 12-54 Gauge (P02556)

These are the best string I’ve ever used. I have used Martin strings, daddario and earth woods as well but I highly prefer these. They feel good under finger, they sound good on anything I put them on and they last a long time! I play upwards of 12 hours a week and I get about 3 months out of them. They are all I’ll use.

These have been my favorite acoustic strings for a couple of years now. My old guitar is one of those that only sounds good with 80/20 bronze alloy strings, and those used to go dull and dead within a month of casual playing. But these keep that newly-broken-in chime for a year or more. Definitely worth the money. As for the coating, it's so subtle you won't even notice it. The only thing you'll notice is that you haven't felt the need to change strings in a long time. Plus, they're Ernie Ball, so you know they'll feel and sound great. The dynamic range and natural harmonics on these things is excellent. They help make my cheap old guitar sound downright beautiful.

These are certainly my favourite, and in my opinion, the best acoustic guitar strings on the market. I've literally run the gamut when it comes to testing out different brands, materials, and gauges of strings, and I always come back to these. If you want a more mellow warmer tone than the brassy sounding Elixir and D'addario equivalents, then these are for you. They last weeks for me, and I play everyday. Another thing worth mentioning is that they don't have the extra long metal end on the wound strings like most other brands, I find that this makes restringing much easier and painless. Cheers!

They work just fine though tone seems a little thin and they are far too bright sounding. In fact, had to double check to see if they were 80/20 bronze strings because they were kind of harsh! This harshness likely has much to do with my instrument, so experiment with yours and find a happy combination. The packaging is good and attractive, more so than any strings I can remember to date.

最近リピートして使用しております。押尾コータローさんやジョン・メイヤーも使用しているということで有名な弦。いわゆる一般的なコーティング弦のようなツルツル感はなく、とても弾きやすいです。また音の粒立ちもよく、ストローク・フィンガリングとオールラウンドに活用できるタイプの弦だと思います。

i didn't expect it to get rusted so fast. it started getting rusted within a week (1st and 2nd strings).

I gave these strings 5 stars because they are a well made good quality product and I liked the feel of them on the guitar. I liked the fact that they felt more or less like untreated strings. However, on my guitar I did not think that they sounded quite as full as another make of treated string. This is purely subjective and in any case these strings may well sound better on one of my other guitars. You will only know if you try them.
