Scandi Rustic: Creating a cozy & happy home

This is a seriously beautiful book. I follow Reena and Rebecca on Instagram so knew that any book they produced together would be good. It’s beautifully photographed with informative text which is written in a way that you know that they visited every property that is featured. If you love the Scandinavian look with the personal design touches of each of the individual home owners then this is the book for you. Would make a lovely Christmas pressie for anyone who loves interiors!

Such a lovely book. I've been wanting to order for ages after discovering the two authors on Instagram, so was thrilled to finally have the chance to get my hands on a copy! The book has great photos and some useful ideas on how to achieve that comfortable, simple, rustic look. We've already used some of the tips on colour and texture to level up our living room and bedroom, and are exciting to put it to further use soon!

What a treat ! This is such a beautiful and inspiring book . Not only is it jam packed with gorgeous homes & calming interiors - it’s also super informative and well written. It is accessible and whatever your style of home & budget this is a must have guide for anyone wanting to create a cozy and happy home.

This is a lovely addition to my growing collection of Hygge books. It's my favourite to date. Beautiful photographs and informative text too. This has a well-deserved place on my coffee table!

I thought I would love this book, based on the subject and the positive reviews it has received. I lived in Scandinavia for 5 years and love the scandi design style, and I now live in rural France, in a house with many "rustic" elements. I hoped that this book would give me some great ideas for combining the two. The first part of the book is a short description of what the writers feel scandi style is all about. There is a focus on lighting, both natural light and tips on ways to light your space with different types of lighting. That made the detailed looks at the featured homes a bit of a surprise, because much of it was what I can only describe as gloomy! Aside of that, there just isn't really much content and I didn't feel it was value for money. I suppose I could follow other reviewers' lead and keep it as a coffee table book ..... but I am not really an interior design books as decor sort of person. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my purchase.

I really enjoyed this book. One of the best I have come across on the subject. The type of decor book that I will keep going back to again & again. Beautifully taken pictures. Loads of truly good inspiration and most importantly it doesn't feel repetitive like many other decor books that I come across that show you the same image fragmented in several pages with repetitive viewing content.
