Review of Polaroid A5 after one week of use
It is a phone to replace a tablet for car use using MAPS. It is lightweight and so works on the windshield without falling off the magnetic mount. That is why I got it. I am familiar with Android so over the first week I got up to speed and downloaded the applications I have on my tablet that I also want on my phone (gmail, MAPS, calendar, voice, people, voice recorder, weather, capmetro, calculator). I also found an Army Knife application I like. The camera has only still photo, no video. I'm not crazy about smartphones, but what are you going to do, carry a shoe phone like Maxwell Smart? I take and place calls at home if possible.

GREAT PHONE!
This is an amazing phone. It's not 4gLTE but it's 4gHSPA+. I really couldn't tell the difference. All in all you get a lot of bang for spending just a few bucks. Highly recommend this phone for those that want good performance with the excessively high price.

Very Poor Reception and Blurry Pictures!!!
This phone has very poor reception, so I have to use headphones when speaking on it. I thought because it is a Polaroid phone my pictures would be great and boy was I wrong, the resolution in bad as well and all pictures come out as blurred. This is not a phone to take a quick picture, one would have to hold the phone steady for about 60 seconds to get a decent shoot. I wanted to return it, but my 30 day return time ran out, so I am stuck with it. One more thing it was a friend of mind who bought the 6 inch version that does no longer charges, my friend has to take out the battery to charge....that will be the last time I take advice from a friend on buying a phone. The only good thing for me is that the phone came unlocked and with a clear soft case. Don't buy this phone.

Phone Problems
I have had this phone for 2 days now. My initial impression was that it is a nice looking phone, it has a good heft to it also. It has two sim card slots and I had never seen that before. We got the phone all set up and tested it by calling our home phone and other cell phone, it worked just fine. The next day my husband took the phone to work and tried to call the house and my cell phone multiple times, we would here it ring and then when answering it we could not here him at all. That night when he came home we test it again and I could here him on the phone and cell phone. He took the phone the next day and again it would not work. It is very frustrating at this point but we will continue to try. I will update in a couple days.

I've had this phone for about 5 months now and it is my 1st smart phone. Battery life is short when browsing via WiFi or with cell data. I don't do spybook just check email and other simple stuff. Camera is OK if you have bright light if you need to depend on flash forget it. Video tends to blur a lot with movement. Call quality is OK. I did take case off and make mike hole and protective cover hole bigger now most people can hear me. OS is very stable it rarely locks up if so just restart the app. I would buy this again and recommend it to a person who doesn't need a lot of apps and is just a basic phone user. Price is right.

not worth the hassle......
this was one of the crappiest phones I've ever purchased, if I could give no stars that's what it would be.....my phone (which I mean this one) was recently stolen from my job. And I've yet to contact the seller for a replacement , my response to it being stolen was ha ha, the joke is on them! This phone froze up on me more times then I can count! It have even cut off on it's own , or has taken long to cut back on, the camera is some crap!!!!! And here I was thinking that oh since it was a "Polaroid" brand then the camera would or should be great! No.....no, that certainly wasn't the case, the only thing I'm mad about with my phone being stolen is that my memory card and sim card is gone to!
