I’m three ducks have a 130 gallon pre-formed pond in their run. The ducks love it, but the algae was out of control due to the Florida sun. Nothing I was doing was helping, a freshly scrubbed pond with a bio-filter was green in five days.I decided to try this barley concentrate…and I’m telling you, this stuff is like magic. I add 1oz every five days…no algae to be found. I anticipate reducing the additive during the winter months, when the sun sits a bit differently.

Does not get rid of algae. It does however keep the water running clear.

Not Impressed with the results …never did clear up my pond…I upgraded to A larger More powerful filter and this solved the problem!

Just what I needed

I recently upgraded my duck pond to about 50 gallons. Nothing crazy. But I wanted to keep the water as clean as possible between cleanings. I wanted something both safe for the ducks and the fish. And this stuff really helps. It works best if you have a fountain fixture that helps circulate it around. I use 1/4 cap and clears the murky water back up in a few hours. I can only apply this 2-3 times before the water gets so bad. I have to clean it out again. But helps alot in between cleanings. Also going to add crayfish later.Awesome stuff. Highly recommend.
