They're okay.
They work well for a bit, then they get dirty. They collect every kind of lint, hair, dust and fur so you need to pick that gross stuff off every once in a while. We use these on our kitchen table chairs since we have hardwood floors. They work to protect the floors, but once they get dirty it's kind of gross to clean off. We also have kids so any type of wet food spilled will also make these sticky. The chairs no longer glide easily on the hardwood floors. I've tried scraping the bottoms, even sanding the bottoms of the felt to 'freshen' it up. Nothing works! I bought these in 2018 and I'm still searching for something that can work better. I guess they only last so long and you need to replace them? I wish there was something that works as well as these, but you could wash. Here I am in 2022 buying them again. Or will I?

Great Floor Protectors
I have used these for years. They hold up very well. You have to be a bit careful to line them up on the chair/table legs. Then a couple of carefully aimed strikes with a hammer and you’re done. No need to add glue. Years later when they wear out they are easy to remove.

Waaaaaay better than those peel-n-stick ones felt pads
Don't waste your money on peel-n-stick felt pads unless it's a rather small piece of furniture and it almost never (or never) moves. What happens (and this IS what happens) is the weight of the furniture, especially combined with any movement and change in weight upon it (such as in a chair or table), the pads start slipping, and the next thing you know, you've got a useless felt pad hanging on for dear life before it just folds up and sticks to the side of the furniture leg ... oh, and THEN the adhesive, or what's left of it on the bottom of the furniture leg, is now, either sticking to your floor, or it's attracting every bit of hair and lint and whatever else.Again, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME on peel-n-stick. Just get these, and nail the little discs onto the bottoms of your wooden furniture legs, and you'll be done. Done! Now, I'll admit that I don't know how long the FELT on these felt pads'll last, that'll depend on what sort of flooring you have. If it's a rough surface, it won't last as long as a smoother surface; sort of simple deduction there. But I'll have to give an update on the wear (I have wood floors), but as far as them slipping off of the furniture, it ain't gonna happen ... well, unless you don't know how to use a hammer at all.SUPER easy to install -- totally non-threatening to even the weakest of hearts. You just flip your chair upside down (or sofa or easy chair, etc), position the felt pad in the center of the bottom of the furniture leg (with the circular nail facing toward the wooden leg, naturally), and then using the hammer, tap the top of the felt pad just a few times to get it in place, and then tap a bit more a few times until it's nice and flush with the surface. DUNZO!I'm just so filled with mixed feelings right now ... I spent well near $20 or so for those (basically useless) peel-n-stick pads and then I had to spend about the same again for these pads, which are WAAAAAAAY better. Can you tell I like 'em?Like I said, I'll give an update if I see any change, or just after a year or so has gone by.If you don't see an update, then they're still good, or I'm dead, or I've left to live off-grid.Cheers!

Last a long time. Easy installation.
This is my second purchase. I purchased the first set of 1” brown nail-on pads for $19.99 on November 2019. As of 4/19/2022, all of the pads are still firmly in place and none of the felt pads are compressed. One chair gets hours of daily use by a 240 lb person and the pads don't look worn at all.I subsequently purchased two of the mixed size set to install on all my wood furniture (end tables, nightstands, large ottoman, sofa, dining chairs, etc.). They are super easy to install. The hardest part is removing the old furniture glides. Only one piece of furniture seemed to have very hard wood, but I just hammered harder to install them. The pads allow the furniture to slide easily, but have enough drag to prevent accidents. The only con is the felt collects fur, like all felt pads, but it's easy to remove.I love these so much I just ordered another set to keep as a spare for future use.

Buy these!
I have tried every other product out there. None of them last or work. I have had these on my kitchen and dining room chairs for a year now, and every one has stayed on and done a great job protecting the floor. Don’t waste your time or money on other products. Buy these!

Much Better Than Adhesive Pads!
We made quite an investment in hardwood floors not too long ago. We quickly developed the habit of putting felt pads on the bottom of furniture legs to help protect the new flooring.Adhesive pads worked well - for a bit, as they'd ultimately move or come completely separated from the furniture.I purchased these pads and was immediately impressed. The metal cylinder affixed to each will pierce even the hardest hardwoods. Once they're seated, removal is difficult, so I'm sure they'll stay put for quite some time!Highly recommended!

These are wonderful! Such a relief not to have sticky glue ...
These are wonderful! Such a relief not to have sticky glue all over my floors. You do need a little elbow grease to hammer these in. I have had my first batch in situ for about 5 mths now, they still work perfectly. I'm only sorry I didn't order them sooner!

Way better than the nail-on kind
Use these fornour dining room chairs (on hardwood). Was a bit skeptical about these as we used to get the nail-on kind. I wasn’t sure if these would bang in ok. Well they do, and they are great! They have a nice thick pad and haven’t worn out yet. Not sure how replacing them will go, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. The old style would have worn out already and would have needed to be replaced, so we’re pretty happy with these

Chair leg caps
recent full home reno and lovely new vinyl plank flooring. My new table chairs already made a couple of small scratches....arghhhhh!!........tried buying silicone caps from Amazon but they did not fit the slightly curved shape of the legs so sent them back and bought these - they are perfect. Hubby pulled out the plastic caps that were on the chairs and then tapped these ones on and they are perfect for sliding the chairs in and out.

Better described as
Unfortunately my experience with these was not positive. After reading many reviews I had high hopes for these but we only made it 4 days before the first one popped off the bottom of my chair leg. Since purchasing last month each chair around my dining room table has lost at least one. The install was quick and easy and the metal part is still secured in the bottom of my chair leg but the plastic bit with the felt comes off very easy and was too flimsy for every day use. These may be ok for light duty floor protection for items that don't get moved often but they are playing pretty fast and loose with the label "heavy duty"- would not recommend for that purpose.

No more scratches!
These were great for a set of dining chairs I had that were starting to scratch the wood laminate flooring in our apartment. Since we rent, I didn't want the floor getting all messed up.These were super easy to install and very effective. You simply remove the plastic tabs at the bottom of the chairs you have, then hammer in these new felt pads. The weird circular metal piece is the nail head.Works great, would recommend!
