Really helps keep pond clear, I use it once a week, three squirts in a 1500 gallon pond and does well on keeping water clear

This is total junk and a waste of my hard earned money. It didn't do a thing for my pond even though I used it as instructed. I'm wondering if I purchased mud water..not barley extract.Anyway, never will I order this product again. I'm being extremely generous with the one star. If I had a choice, there would be no star.

With an outdoor 6,000 gal pond and a bio filter fed from a bottom sump pump and a second skimmer/brush pump, we have 20 Koi from 2" to 22". Even with shade from Lotus plants, underwater plants and snails, the sludge limited visibility to a few inches. In two weeks with this product, recommended by our local nursery/pond store, our pond is nearly 100% clear, with a natural look, rather than like a swimming pool (crystal clear). I just bought a gallon to save money and will make this part of our normal maintenance.

I just received and opened the box containing Aquascape Barley Liquid, although I love the product, I'm not pleased that the pump came in broken!

This product does not work as advertised. It does not clarify the water at all, nor have any visible impact on algae growth. Like other reviewers have said, it seems to not work in summer months, which is exactly when it is needed, so don't waste your money.

My UV light went out and within a week all I could see was green- then the string algae came… bought this, combined with Nualgi and 3 days later this is my 16000 gal koi pond - since I’ve now installed a new UV light.
