Have you ever read a story with adventure and thrill but also a romantic twist. If you liked the first and second hunger games you will love the final one. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins is a great novel that will keep you on your toes. I chose to read this book because the first and second novels in the series were phenomenal and left the story on a cliff hanger. I love the suspense, drama, and thrill in Mockingjay. It made me feel excited and surprised towards the end.Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins illustrates the story of Katniss Everdeen trying to take down the capitol and kill president snow. The novel takes place in district 13 where the rebels have taken refuge. The capitol has taken Peeta and the other tributes captive and are torturing them for information on the rebels. Gale, Finnick, Beetee and Katniss are finding solutions and building a team to attack the capitol. throughout the story there are many battles between the rebels and the capitol leading up to the amazing ending.This book had many strengths, one of them being the suspense created. Every chapter left me wanting to read on. The author Suzanne Collins, is excellent at describing the events and scenes. It feels like you are there in the story because of all the descriptive words. Some weaknesses of the book are the lack of dialogue. In Mockingjay Katniss usually has internal dialogue rather than talking outlaid. If you like a story with great description and lots of action then you will love this book.I loved this book and wish there were many more books in the series. Mockingjay is my favorite book in the Hunger Games series. It has suspense, drama and action all in one. I recommend this book to anyone interested in thrilling novels that keep you wanting more. All ages will enjoy this fantastic dystopian story. Ultimately, if you love action and romance, Mockingjay is perfect for you.
