Im glad i didn't let the critical reviews on these scare me off. Perfectly fine. Fits on the bar like it should. Weighs what it should.

These are old school weights that make that metal clank sound we all love to hear when pumping iron. Painted with thick grey paint and white lettering. Pound for pound nicely priced.

At time of purchase, thanks to a discount these plates are the cheapest I could find at just a bit over a dollar/lb. They look decently good, and measured at ~44.7lbs, which is acceptable to me. Great value!

I purchased the 2.5lb weights for my home gym and they are as advertised. They get the job done and that's all I could ask for. However, these have serious issues:1. Smell - these smell like fresh paint and even after having these for months in my garage, the scent still lingers. It's not pleasant at all.2. Quality - it looks as if the metal underneath the paint chipped somehow, and the paint job is quite jagged, I see others on here that purchased heavier weights which ruined their barbells. Lucky for me, I only needed these for incremental weights and they are not heavy enough to scratch my custom Rogue barbell or I'd be *furious* to say the least. The paint is also heavily caked on.... I'm not sure if they just put too much activator in the paint that it leaves a less smooth finish on the plates.Can I recommend the heavier weights? Not from what I've seen. But the lesser weights get the job done even if they kind of smell up close. I don't smell them when they're on the barbell so that's all that matters to me. They were relatively cheap even during vivid when people are up selling weights, so I'm not going to complain too hard, but please take it with a grain of salt.

High quality weight plates

Overall, these change plates do the trick as a low cost option for fractional weight. Paid about $4 dollars per plate so not too bad given COVID-19. Highly recommend giving them a coat of clear coat spray paint or Truck Bed Lining Spray to give them a bit more strength. If you dropped these on cement or a hard service, they'd like crack or shatter.

When I ordered the price was 1.15 pound. There was a minor imperfections on one plate. Given the price and convenience of having it delivered to my door I am very happy. Why I have it 5 stars.However the price has since gone up to much more. They are just weight plates. I would buy these depending on price. Prices on dumbbell and weight plates have become insane.
