very nice tinning solution
Pricey but works well.

Does a great job on clean copper
I use a CNC router to make PCB's using a very small end mill. The resulting boards are cleaned with Tarn-X cleaner and then placed in this solution. The result is a uniform coating of tin that both protects the copper from tarnish and wets well with solder. This makes attaching surface mount parts much easier than on bare copper. So far I have made about 100 sq inches of PCB without any sign of exhausting the solution.

Great for tinning bare copper.
We like this liquid tin - it tins nicely, and quickly. We were looking for a replacement for the old TINNIT kit, and found this. It works WAY better than anything we've used. Just a word of caution - wear gloves when using the stuff - it has thiourea - nasty stuff, so use all the precautions as directed. Great stuff indeed.

Good stuff. I used it for a long time. The only thing is I can not figure it out yet is in term of area-minutes so that I can gauge how much tin is left. I know it says 21.5g/L so it has about 2.7g in that bottle. I also know 7 minutes get you 1 micron thickness. But I would like to know the area it can cover with 1 micron. Help MG Chemical?? Or Chemist??

Amazing stuff!
This stuff loves to stick to copper! Wipe the part clean with a solvent, buff oxide off with 3M cloth and wipe solution on and rinse off with warm water. Use gloves!

Amazingly fast and effective.
Great stuff. works perfectly. Makes soldering easy and fast. Just be careful to wear mask and eye wear and gloves.
