This is by far the cleanest and most transparent brand of Whey Protein. They tell you exactly where they get it from and are 100% transparent about their processes. Sure it may be a little pricier but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for clean ingredients as far as whey protein goes, this is it. It is a neutral flavor profile, you can sweeten it however you like, it gives you that much more control. If you are looking for cheap, this isn't for you. This product is for those who care, those who want to know where their things are coming from and want to back a product that is clean and in summary, premium. Overall, still pretty affordable in my opinion.

The chocolate flavor tastes amazing. It's raw cacao NOT alkalized, which means it retains its flavonoids and other nutrients. They also provide the independent testing certificate for heavy metals in the cacao. It's also not sweet, just mildly. And it's not bitter like other things with stevia, because the concentration of stevia here is so low. Something else that's amazing is the bag's seal, holy cow, I had never seen one of these before. Seals super well, easy, love it.Keep it up and don't change anything!!

This whey is absolutely worth the price. A rare find: it is high quality organic whey protein without lecithin or any other additives or preservatives, sweeteners or flavors, and is not an isolate. It is ALSO from Jersey cows with a higher A2 protein ratio, and produced with regenerative farming approaches—it doesn't get much better in the States. It also happens to taste great and blend well in smoothies! I'm super sold on this product.

I have been using this whey protein powder for a few months now, and I like it very much. It is a bit challenging to dissolve unless I use a mini frother or blender. The taste is pleasant and works nicely with my morning coffee. I took off one star because of the packaging, because when you receive the bag, the whey powder completely clogs the zipper seal and requires that you use a knife or other sharp tool to clean the powder out of the zipper so that the product package can be sealed. The manufacturer should consider alternative packaging or at the very least an inner bag to contain the powder so that the ziplock closure does not get clogged with the product. Otherwise, very happy with this protein powder which is helping me with my health.

I was looking for a new vanilla whey protein powder. This looked like what I was looking for. Tried it and it’s delicious. Plan to buy it again!

This is the only brand I've ever found to be impossible to mix. Maybe everyone else has a binder or filler or something, but I just don't buy that this brand is somehow cleaner than every single other brand of natural whey I've tried. The stuff is supposed to be dried out of water, something weird's going on here...

I bought the Classic Whey Protein because I was looking for a protein supplement with minimum ingredients and processing that was organic and grass fed. This company delivered exactly what I wanted with also a packaging that is sturdy and doesn't seem like it would easily puncture during delivery.As for the taste, I was very impressed. I made a PB/chocolate protein shake and the protein powder actually made the taste even better by adding some creaminess or thickness to the shake. I even ate some of the powder alone as some was accidentally left over while making my shake. The little powder I ate was pretty good too.Overall I am very impressed with this protein powder and I will be sticking with this as I am currently subscribed to monthly orders. I would highly recommend the NorCal Classic Whey Protein for those that are trying to get away from as many processed foods as possible.

The company did well to keep the product organic and clean, with no unnecessary ingredients or additives. But they include very little chocolate and stevia to the mix, and so the flavor is very disappointing. They have very little competition in this price range on Amazon, so they may feel very little need to improve their product. But they should deliver what they promise at the price they offer. This is not really a chocolate flavored product.
