I have HP LaserJet Pro M201dw model, which is a work horse printer in my house as my family prints almost every day, both sides of paper.My previous cartridge was also a 3rd party 83A compatible cartridge but I bought these because these are 83X compatible cartridges, which is a high yield cartridge. According to HP, 83A cartridge can print around 1,500 pages while 83X can print 2,200 pages.As you can see in my photos, I printed a product demo page before and after I replaced the cartridge, and you will see that it works and that the prints and dark and crisp.However, I was disappointed to see Supply Memory Error on the LCD screen as well as the Supply Status print page to show Unknown for the Supply Level. I thought the chip on this cartridge was not compatible with my printer so I contacted the seller and they told me to turn off the printer, reinstall it, then turn it back on. So I followed these steps, and viola! It's now recognized as Non-HP 83X cartridge without any memory error on LCD screen.As you can see from the supplies status print out photo, it indicates that approximate pages remaining is more than 1750 and it shows that Non-HP Black Cartridge 83X (CF283X) at 100%.So I realized that one thing that I didn't do was to turn off the printer when replacing the toner cartridge, which looks like is the right thing to do so that new cartridge and chip is recognized properly.THE BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars. This is such a bargain with amazing value compared to the HP cartridges and it works just as well. I highly recommend these cartridges if you need to replace HP 83A or 83X cartridges.Just make sure to turn off the printer before replacing the cartridge, and if you didn't then simply turn the printer off, reinsert the cartridge then turn it back on, and it should work like it did for me.Hope this was useful... and if it was, please click on the helpful button below. I really don't write reviews that often but I have to with this product. I needed ink and after taking a look at the reviews I thought I could give it a try. I admit I was hesitant because the price was awesome esp when you get 3 in the price because as we all know ink prices are crazy expensive. So I went a head an bought this. Man I am so glad I did. My husband had no problem installing it and the quality of printing was awesome. I mean when you see something this good in price you feel somewhat hesitate because not all products are the same as originals and your left feeling " well you get what you paid for". But really this product is fantastic! Plus it has lasted me a while. I thought because I got 3 in the box I would have a short supply and since I'm a homeschool mom I print alot. I am so happy with this. When I do finally run out I will be purchasing again. I highly recommend!

Works great in my HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M127fn.. Since it's a substitute for the original the printer indicates an error when first installed, but after clicking the maintenance button and letting the printer know it's OK it adjusts itself and works fine.

At a fraction of the cost, I have to say that this purchase was an absolute bargain. I read some horrible reviews and some great ones, decided to take a chance.Well worth it. Easy to install, prints clearly. It is exactly what I wanted, and I got four times the amount I needed for the price of would. A definite must buy if you're at an office or print enough.

I ordered this item for my printer. It was well priced in comparison to other brands, and I was able to get more than the number of printed pages with quality printouts - legible and dark. Having 3 children, we are doing a lot of printing of school projects. Not to mention that this order was delivered within a few days. I am very happy with this purchase and would re-order.

I wanted to wait awhile before leaving a review to ensure that there were no issues with the ink. The ink quality is identical to what you get for a pricier product but at a considerably better price. The cartridges are easy to install & produce a very crisp, clear image. I gave the product 5 stars because the quality & value are fantastic.
