Replaceable Sisal Scratching Post Natural for Cats

I wanted something to put outside of the crate for my cats. They liked to climb up there but my little one is struggle to go up and looks dangerous. I was looking for something to attach outside of my crate and found this one. It work perfectly. The installment was easy and very steady! My cats use it to go up as soon as I put it. Very happy to get it!!

I ordered this two pack, put 1 away for later and put 1 out. Today I finally went to get the spare post out of the closet to replace the worn out one, and realized I've had the same post up since September. The post lasted a solid months! The worn post I'm replacing is still usable, just getting worn in one spot and my cats will start to chew it. I have 2 cats who tear through scratching posts like its their job, posts normally lasting a few weeks, this withstood the challenge and I will absolutely buy many more of these!

Very well made, but came with no instructions, but common sense will help you figure out how to assemble. Good, thick sisal rope, will not ravel over time like my other cat tree did. Cat played with it as soon as I took it out the box. It's wall mountable, but my cat seemed to prefer it on it's side, more than on the wall. (it's strong enough to sit on side too)Has 2 long mounting screws to mount on wall, door or in cat's play area, for enjoyment of all of our cats. One note* find a sturdy, permanent place to mount it because the screws are long and will leave holes in the wall, which we found out the hard way, since cats preferred to play with it unmounted on the floor.Overall, nice sturdy well made product.

Did not realise they used a smaller threaded shaft than what my 2 scratching post uses. So I cannot use these as they won't mount to my bases. They are smaller diameter also compared to original post.

This worked out great for us because we just wanted to reuse the scratching post we had but we weren't willing to add more rope to it. this piece screwed right into the base of our scratching post and looks just like new.We didn't use this for the intended use that it was given. We do not have a wall mount scratching post but just the simple stand-alone scratching post that stands in the middle of a small piece of carpet. I purchased this with the intent to replace the old post and it did wonderful.If you're looking to replace your scratching post and you need another post this should work out just fine because the screw is the same size.The only thing I can't remember about this is whether or not I can double stack it.I believe I can I would just have to look at the product and I will submit a review update later to detail whether or not this has the ability. I'm almost certain that it does considering I just didn't have another two-way screw so that I could attach an additional post and make my scratching post taller.The packaging it came in was pretty simple as it was just a box and a little bit of plastic wrapping and that was it. The packaging was very minimal.

This item broke off 3 days after I put it on my cat tree

I was excited when I found this product because I was looking for a reasonably priced replacement piece for my cats scratching post. I should have known it wasn’t going to be amazing for the price. It didn’t come with a screw to attach it properly, I figured out a way to screw it on. But my cats don’t seem to like it which is strange because they enjoy all scratching posts, and have never been picky. Out of 3 cats not one likes it. It’s made well though so far but until it’s used I can’t be too sure.

arrived broken. i now have to buy wood glue to assemble the bits enough to ideally hold stability for my cat to pull Very VERY disappointed.Don't know how to upload photos to demonstrate but it's sad.UPDATE 4/22/20202Huh. I had updated this last week, but it didn't seem to take. I received a follow up email from the company regarding revising the original review. I had, in my earlier update (which isn't here) mentioned how quick the company responded to my distress and refunded me the broken product they feel broke during shipment (I'm not convinced, or if that were the case, the product had weak points). I had mentioned how sincere the company appeared and gave one more star (making it two) because the product was still broken and now undiscoverable in effectiveness for rating in the manner the stars are intended. But, after this latest email from them, not knowing the first update hadn't "taken," I've gone ahead and given the full 5 stars because I want to try again to put this all behind all of us and they really don't want my poor review of one star and they were a good, quick responsive company. Here's hoping this submit button works this time.
