I’ve done cross stitch and a bit of embroidery as a child but haven’t done it in years. Got this to do in lockdown and I’ve so far done the flowery one with light background.It was fun, easy. Ok instructions (you might want to watch a YouTube video if you’ve never stitched before) and it was good value for money. Worked on it for 3 evenings and I’m happy with result. You have to you use your own judgement an little bit for stitch placement to make flowers look full but it’s fun and something to pass the time.I can see some people getting stressed out about it not looking perfect... but just enjoy the ride.On the next one I’ll be more mindful of making the back look neater.

5 stars for this. For some reason I thought I was ordering a cross stitch kit but that's totally my fault. This is even better though and I am flying through my first cloth. The kit comes with a fairly big plastic hoop, plenty of embroidery threads and three needles (possibly 9 in all since there's three kits) and there's enough instructions to get you started, although I have been referring to You Tube as well.This hobby is soothing me through very uncertain times and I'm recommending this kit already to my crafty friends.

This was the best thing to get to begin my embroidery journey. I love the patterns and it was easy to pick up and follow. I will say that I had to tweak some of the directions because the amount of floss, in my personal opinion, was a little off in some sections but that's my personal opinion and taste. I did run out of the dark purple in the multi-coloured flowers and had to purchase additionally but otherwise there was plenty of thread, even some leftover after I had to pull out some mistakes. I would definitely recommend buying!

I was nervous buying as I have never done embroidery in my life but wanted a new hobby to enjoy during lockdown. I am over the moon with my purchase! The guide is easy to follow and such value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Bought as a gift.This product does not come in a box - and arrived in a clear plastic bag.So from this perspective not an ideal gift as looks cheap.Would have been happy if I was buying for myself, but would not recommend as a gift.Cannot comment on the experience of completing it, as haven’t done it myself.

i've wanted to try out embroidery for a while but i didnt think i'd enjoy it as much as i did! perfect for beginners as instructions show step by steps on how to do the different stitches. my only problem was in one of the packs the thread labels to match the instructions were incorrect but you can easily match it up by the colours. a great kit!

This was the first embroidery kit I ordered. I have to say I'm impressed, there's plenty of thread and needless provided for each pattern. The templates are very clear on the pieces of fabric and the instructions regarding what colour thread and number of strands needed. The only part I found tricky was following the instructions for how to do each type of stitch (if you are a complete newbie like I am and don't know any stitches beyond straight and back!). But this was easily resolved with a couple of YouTube videos. Great quality, I've ordered another set!

I ordered this to kickstart my new hobby and it's great! Everything is packed and ready for you. Although for me the instructions were a bit hard to understand and there were no instructions for the aftercare, but I just youtubed tutorialed it. Was great to pass the time and keep me sane during quarantine! Definitely recommend.
