My 16 year old son is incredibly hard to buy gifts for, but he really enjoyed this one. We had a house full of science & math people for Christmas, even the 30 year olds were playing with this stuff.

I bought this for my venom obsessed son and he loves it. The magnetic liquid inside moves and wiggles almost like it’s alive, he loves taking the magnet at it over overall I think it was a great purchase, I really had to that he shouldn’t open the. The bottle was sealed I would be happier and not have to check it all the time lol

very fun toy for anyone fascinated by science, the magnets are actually very strong so be careful not to break them by smashing them together

Something my child wanted for Christmas. I didn't think he would play with it much, but he finds it very fascinating and plays with it often. To be honest, it does look like the symbiote from the marvel comics venom which is kind of cool. It was delivered in great shape and on time.

This is a simple but really clean and tidy way to see how ferro fluid reveals a magnetic field. It's much more sensitive than plain old iron filings. Being contained in a bottle, it's much tidier than raw ferro fluid, which is super messy if you're not super careful. One warning they don't give you is that the bottle cap just screws on (or off) and, if this is given to children, they might unscrew the cap which would release the fluids all over the floor and make one heck of a mess. They don't give any information about what hazard this might be. If nothing else, the ferro fluid will never come out of the carpet.My bottle arrived with an air bubble, and the vendor responded nearly immediately with an offer to send a replacement. I'm very happy with this interesting scientific novelty and the vendor that sells it.

Do NOT buy this product. My CV old was using it in a typical manner, not being rough, and it exploded. There was black all over her skin, sheets, clothing and sadly, our walls. $20 toy, $1000 paint job.
