Kids love their pet venom
My kids love their "pet venom". There is a bubble in the container the Ferrofluid can get stuck in. I feel like it adds to the experiment, one more aspect to play around with. Add a bit more and you can make it float, take it out and you can see the oil left in the bubble. All around a lot of fun!

Was a huge hit with the kids at Christmas this year
I always try to get my nephew cool science gifts and figured he would love this once I saw it. It's a pretty basic kit, you could likely source all the parts yourself but honestly the included magnets and glass bottle have a great look and were worth the price for me. It's on the small size but still manages to impress. Kids had a ton of fun playing with it, attention lasted on it way longer than expected. It did the job, fun toy, educational and kept the kids interest.

They did not like when they said the magnets are fragile
My son begged me for ferrofluid for Christmas. And was beyond happy when he discovered this is what I got him. He has enjoyed hours of fun with this stuff, making slow motion videos, and calling it his own piece of Venom ( from spider man). Though, as many reviews have already warned, I will say those magnets to click together real easy. And this causes them to chip real easy. So be careful.

Pretty cool toy
Bought this for my son who loves venom. He loves to move the magnets around his “venom in a bottle”

Really interesting toy
This is a simple but really clean and tidy way to see how ferro fluid reveals a magnetic field. It's much more sensitive than plain old iron filings. Being contained in a bottle, it's much tidier than raw ferro fluid, which is super messy if you're not super careful. One warning they don't give you is that the bottle cap just screws on (or off) and, if this is given to children, they might unscrew the cap which would release the fluids all over the floor and make one heck of a mess. They don't give any information about what hazard this might be. If nothing else, the ferro fluid will never come out of the carpet. My bottle arrived with an air bubble, and the vendor responded nearly immediately with an offer to send a replacement. I'm very happy with this interesting scientific novelty and the vendor that sells it.

Ok for the cost
Didn’t really last but my son enjoyed while it did.

Very cool.
Something my child wanted for Christmas. I didn't think he would play with it much, but he finds it very fascinating and plays with it often. To be honest, it does look like the symbiote from the marvel comics venom which is kind of cool. It was delivered in great shape and on time.

Not for kids!!!
The info provided online says it is a toy for kids, but the box that the product came in says it is for ages 15 and up. I had it sent to my 6 yr old grandson for christmas. He somehow got the bottle open and the ferrous liquid got all over his face and eyes. It does not come off easily. There is not enough information about the chemical makeup of the material provided to know how dangerous it is. We are waiting for the company to respond to our message.
