I have issues in finding jeans that fit well across my 'problem' areas: stomach, hips and backside. I always have to wear a belt with my other jeans to keep them from sliding down. Not with Democracy. They stay firmly in place and feel sooooo comfortable. I p!an on getting more and ditching my other jeans. As for sizing: go one size below if you like a tight fit - still comfortable and I look good in them which gives me a lot of confidence.Every woman should have at least one pair in her closet - nope, 2 or more is even better.

I have fallen in love with democracy jeans, especially the absolution ones. As someone who is pear-shaped, it is super hard to find jeans that don’t gap in the waist and fit in the hips and thighs. I got my first set of democracy jeans from a stitch fix order. I then found them on sale through one of the ladies I follow on Facebook. These are now my go to jeans for day-to-day use. Not only do they look great on, but they are very comfortable.The only reason I gave this a four-star instead of five star was that the distressed part of the jeans was a little bit much in the fact that I am concerned, they won’t hold up and the rips will continue to progress and I won’t be able to use them for a very long time. lesson learned for me to stay away from their distressed line

These jeans fit me perfectly and are very comfortable. The instructions suggested to wash before wearing, which I did. The dye that faded out left streaks in the jeans. I then washed them in hot water and bleach which solved the problem. They are now my favorite jeans.

The petite sizing is just right. I am 5’ 2” tall. I love the fit and feel of these jeans. They don’t bind at the waistband.

I wouldn’t have ordered these if I had noticed the distressed touches. I should have looked more closely. Also, they are more flared than I would expect from a straight leg style. They are so comfortable that, given the sale price, I decided to keep them. They are great around the house or running to the grocery store.

LOVE these jeans - flattering and comfortable. But sadly I am returning them because the indigo color has that faded/worn out look on the seat and thighs. Ugh. Wish they looked like the photo.

Democracy is my go to brand of jeans. I can buy them from anywhere and know that the size I normally get will fit perfectly. I was super surprised that I could get them from Amazon at such a great price! I actually bought 2 pair - blue denim and white for the spring/summer.Again, perfect fit!!!I'll be looking at Amazon again soon for more Democracy jeans!!

These are good jeans, comfortable and fit as I expected straight leg. I did cut them, as I wanted a shorter & fraying end

These fit a smidge larger that some brands. If you are between sizes, size down. Nice soft stretchy fabric. Nice cut - transitioning away from skinny jeans without getting too much leg width. I don’t particularly like ripped jeans, but these are minimal and acceptable. Great fit for us with a rounder butt.

I am SHOCKED that these fit so perfectly after ordering online! I have a very hard time finding jeans that fit (athletic build means I usually get a big gap at the back). I have another pair of Democracy jeans and they’re my favourite ever, but I had bought those in-store, so I was still apprehensive about buying these online. However, after reading the reviews that their sizes are consistent I took the plunge. So happy I did! I’m 5’3”, 125lbs, waist 27”. I got a size 2 Petite and it’s amazing! I could probably have squeezed into a size down but then the pants would have been way too short. So so happy with this brand!

super comfy jeans, originally bought the 4p, hips and waist were too big, bought the 2p, perfect fit, still too long though. height 5.1 and weight 118
