I don't see any reason to provide a car dealer with free advertising by using their fugly license plate holder with the dealer name and logo plastered across the bottom in bright lettering. So, I ordered a pair of these to install on my two cars. They arrived quickly and well packaged. They are very soft and fit snugly around the plate. It takes a couple of minutes to carefully stretch the frame around the plate, and the included plastic insertion tool provides protection against slicing your finger on the edge of the plate. The bottom side has drain holes to let out any rain water. The outside lip is large enough to stay in place without hiding key lettering on the license plate. The package has a 2D bar code you can scan with your smartphone to access an online installation video, but that is hardly necessary. These are really nice and give the rear of your vehicle a nice clean appearance. With one of these in place, your license plate won't rattle or scratch the paint on your car. I highly recommend this frame.

100% satisfied with this frame. It's a major improvement over cheaply made metal options. My favorite thing about the frame is how it protects and holds the plate without blocking too much of the plate. I can easily change my yearly license tag without having to take off the frame. Other frames were too wide at the bottom and blocked access to the tag.Installation was easy. A good tip is to lightly coat your plate's edges with soap to easily slide it into the frame. Love that its clean, minimalist look adds a touch of class to the back of my car. Feels rugged and well made.

I put these on my new-to-me truck. They were easy to install and look great. I didn't use the tool too much, just stretched the covers around my plates. The only con that I have is that they didn't come with any screws, but that may not be such a negative if the screws were not the right size. I did buy a set of screws separately, which allowed me to choose the type and color. I still have to run them through a car wash. We will see how they hold up. If they bend or deform in the car wash, I will update this review. Other than that, I am pleased so far.

The silicone license plate frame is pretty good and easy to install. I will update my review after it survives Arizona's dry heat. The only reason I am taking a star is the screws that came with it. The screws are too long and much thicker so I did not use it as it would have definitely damage the socket and the car body.

Here in Central New York, metal license plate frames rust, corrode and the paint flakes off. The bitter cold temperatures combined with sometimes not so gentle car washes causes plastic frames to break. These plate frames are an ideal solution. The silicone is soft and supple yet durable. It was -1 degree Farenheit today and they are still soft and supple, yet durable. The fit the plates snugly and the included screw caps are a nice touch, although the included screws can go right in the trash because 1) They probably won't fit (too small) and 2) they are cheap metal and will probably corrode if you live in a road salt area. Despite that, the frames are amazing and the kit thoughtfully designed. An excellent value for the money and around here, these are the only plate frames anyone should be using.

This 2-pack of black, silicone license plate frames create a simple, clean look for the front and back tags on my car. A license plate frame (that I had used previously) cut off some of the writing, including the state and state motto. This one displays the entire plate. When I'm on an Interstate road trip, far away from home, I want people in other cars to easily see that I am from New Hampshire, the "Live Free or Die" state! The included gloves were very helpful in keeping me from getting cuts from the rough edges of the license plates, while getting them into the silicone frames. I ended up not needing to use the installation tool, which was also included. Finally, this new plate frame makes it possible for me to put the new registration sticker on the plate each year without having to remove the old license plate frame, which covered part of the sticker.

I was shocked when I opened the package and saw that it included not only a plastic slider thing to help put the plate holder around the license plate, but also a set of gloves! The material of the holder is a thick silicone type rubber. So it feels like rubber, but is smooth and soft like silicone if that makes any sense. I found it much easier to put on the plates without the use of the orange slider thing, but I was also doing it with a broken finger so that might have made a difference. My new car didn't have plate holders on it, just two holes and two small foam things that were supposed to protect the paint from the plates. These covers are solid so I feel the paint on the car is completely protected from the metal plates.Also to note, there are two slits at the bottom of the plate holders so water has a place to escape and they wont get moldy.Great value for the money!

Put these on our SUV where the old bracket was making a lot of noise. The rubber stops at the bottom (on SUV hatch) are brittle from age so the whole plate rattled on bumps and when we closed the hatch. Can't find the part to replace them. These frames look better than the similarly-priced steel ones I took off, were quick to install, and really addressed the noise issue.Note that none of the supplied screws fit our Nissan and the cap/covers would not fit with the existing bolts. So don't buy this one expecting the included hardware to work!
