A+ Screen Replacement Plus Speedy Delivery!
I purchased this screen for my MacBook Air A1466 mid 2013 13" model after opening it one morning to find out the display was broken. After refusing to easily pay at least $600+ at an Apple store (mind you guys, it's not under warranty and past apple care warranty as well) I figured I could replace it myself for a fraction of the cost, since I build PCs as a hobby, and figured a MacBook wouldn't be much different, and boy, did I make the right decision! First off, this screen came FOUR days before they said it would and they definitely took attention to detail when it came to packaging. The screen was placed in what looked like a blow up plastic pillow, plus it was wrapped in bubble wrap. The screen also came with an anti-static covering on the lid, and a screen protection film. The display cables and camera cable were both nicely taped down with masking tape, along with masking taping covering the camera and the MacBook Air logo. Comparing both the new screen and my old one, I can't tell a difference other than the font of the words, "MacBook Air" being slightly different, but obviously not enough to throw one off. When it came down to installing the new screen, that was a little challenging, as I had never worked on a MacBook before and had to follow an online YouTube guide to make sure I was doing it right. The whole process took a little over an hour for me to complete. Now my MacBook Air looks and feels like it's brand new again. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive alternative to replacing your screen on a MacBook Air (model A1466 2013-2017) and don't mind the challenge of replacing it yourself, I highly recommend getting this screen! You won't regret it!

Great replacement for damaged MacBook Air screen
My daughter closed her Macbook Air while there was a ring sitting on the keyboard. It broke the screen and I was looking at a $600+ repair. I've repaired a number of iPhones over the past couple of years, so I thought I'd try my hand at replacing the screen. You'll need special tools, so do your research there. Some of the screws at the bottom of the case can be difficult to remove. I had to drill one out, and of course you need to be super careful to get all of the metal shards removed before opening up the case. This was not a repair for the inexperienced person. Over 25 steps to remove and 25 steps to replace the monitor. There are very small wires and connectors involved and many things that could go wrong. I have to open mine up again as the fan is not working now. The small connector for the fan is very difficult to re-engage. Display looks like the original, so no issues there at all...just beware and have a high level of confidence that you'll be able to pull apart your laptop and put it back together.

Great Value, Quality Part
This is an outstanding value, especially when compared to an Apple replacement. The image quality and brightness appear to be identical to the original screen. Additionally, the built-in webcam produces images on par with the original as well. If this is not an OEM part, it's impossible to tell. Before you install it, take the time to remove the clutch cover (the black plastic strip) and ensure that the screws holding the hinges to the screen are tight. The screen I received had some wobble after the first installation that was completely fixed after those screws were fully tightened.I'd buy this for my trusty Macbook Air again in a heartbeat, but I'll make sure all the screws are tight before installing.

MacBook Air 2017 model A1466 ,etc 3178
After a lot deliberation I got this from Odyson at a good price way cheaper than if I have to get it from apple.I went through you tube videos and ifixit site and fixed myself.Everything went smooth the screen looked good not much noticeable difference to say its not original screen.I had a glitch of not able to fix the wifi Cable on the board as the pin has to be connected on the board it was too small and probably needs a magnifying glass to look and fix properly.Wifi was too slow as the cable was not fixed properly.I got it fixed from a local repair shop and it worked fine. The performance is as good as original .Nice product at a cheaper price.

Nice product
Super good product . I was able to change this myself . Was a bit tricky , especially the wireless cables … wish it costed a little less though . It’s almost 15-20% cost of a Mac air . I would still recommend this product , instead of buying a new laptop :). Hope it lasts for few years without any issue . Thumbs up overall

Saved my son’s laptop
Purchased this screen to hopefully replace the screen of my son’s MacBook Air after it was dropped and no longer functional. Videos in the listing looked easy enough. After it arrived (along with a set of special tools I had to order separately) I began to do the replacement. Taking the old one off was easy enough. I had a little bit of trouble putting all the cables and wires back into place, but that’s mostly cause of my large hands. All said and done it took maybe an hour if not less and it’s been working great! Can’t tell a difference between the original and the new one!
