PSP AC Adapter

When products like this are available, buying an original adapter from Sony seems foolish. This product is very inexpensive and works perfectly. The adapter does not feel cheap and the connector fits snugly into the PSP. The only gripe I had was the less-than-ideal shipping time and the poor packaging. Complaining about the packaging is actually another silly thing to do because the product wasn't damaged at all during shipping. The device works exactly as it is advertised. The adapter does not appear to be made poorly, it feels like a totally normal AC adapter. I was very, very pleased with this adapter.

So my dog ate through my old PSP adapter and I came on here to see if I could pick up a new one. I didnt feel like spending full price on the Sony one, so I gave this a try. Works perfectly and is much cheaper than the sony brand. Ive had it for a few months and no problems whatsoever. I would buy this again and recommend it.

I received the charger on time and it works as intended, although as other reviewers have noted, the build quality is shoddy and I doubt it will last long. Still, it gets the job done and I didn't expect much more for the price. THIS IS NOT THE PELICAN ADAPTER! It's a Chinese knock-off. Again, it works, but if you're a stickler for quality, pay the extra $10 for a Pelican or 1st-party adapter.

For only $3.00, this adapter works great! The main problems I encountered was that it couldn't plug in to my psp 3000 all the way. But it still fit and stayed in just fine. The adapter tends to heat slightly witch would normally cause problems over time, but it wasn't warm enough to be much of a concern. The plug fits nicely into the wall, and have so far had no safe hazards. And for $3, it's more than worth it.

One thing for sure..it get the job done. All I need to power my psp .The price is right! Get if your low on funds...but I would honestly tell to buy official Sony product. I fear that this could over charger my psp.well so far none this has happen to my psp.but it could.. You know the deal you get what you pay for! Injoy you psp...until you get a psp vita.

Not at all impressed. First and foremost the adapter I received is not the Pelican brand being sold here, it is a cheap Chinese knock off. If I had wanted a sub standard product I wouldn't have paid extra for a recognized name brand. Second of all, this adapter isn't even compatible with my PSP 3000 despite what is reported here and on the packaging. The plug is not at all similar to the one found on the car charger for my PSP 3000 (it's much longer and fatter). I'll most likely be seeking a refund on this unfortunate piece of merchandise. Edit: For what it's worth, this is the actual item I received (rather than the Pelican charger pictured here): Ac Adapter for PSP 1000/2000/3000 You'll notice that the unbranded item in the link is being sold for half of what this one is. Again, if I would have wanted a cheaply made product, I would have bought that one. I thought I was getting (and consequently paid for) a Pelican charger, which is not what I received. Edit 2: OK, it turns out that this item isn't even worth the shipping cost it would take to return it. Looks like I'll just swallow the cost of the purchase, and toss it in the trash. Quite a racket they're running here.

It is cheap and not really all that well made compared to the original adapter made by Sony. It works. Hopefully it will hold up over time.
