My new favorite author!
What a beautiful book set! Chris Riddell's amazing line illustrations are a perfect match for Gaiman's ever-so-slightly creepy stories.Coraline: You may have already seen the film, but this is about a little girl named Coraline, who finds a door in her house that leads to another world that is just like her own, only way more exciting. It's inhabited by copies of people who reside in Coraline's real world, and they are all created by her "Other Mother," who eventually tells Coraline that she wants her to stay with her forever. Choices, choices. What will Coraline decide to do, and what will be the consequences of those choices? And what has happened to her real parents?Fortunately, the Milk: While aimed at a very young audience, this is a very creative book that is rather entertaining. Imagine that you go out to the store to buy milk for your kids' breakfast cereal, only your journey is filled with unexpected adventures and unusual characters that pretty much do everything in their power to keep you from getting home. Does Dad ever make it home with the milk? The Graveyard Book: A young boy's family is murdered in their beds by a man in black, but somehow the little tyke makes it out of his house and toddles into the nearby graveyard, where he is adopted by the ghosts who live there. I loved this book. Every twist and turn in the story line was wholly unexpected and very unusual. Above all, it held my attention from start to finish.

Great gift for kids
I bought these books for my nine-year-old niece. I thought they'd all be graphic novels for some reason, which my niece prefers, (I know Coraline can be either a straight up novel or a graphic novel) but they are just regular novels & once I opened them up, they are perfect. They have pictures that add a lot to the stories, and just generally have good content.

Great for Reading Aloud and Very Nice Look
All the books have very nice art and the box they come in is nice and sturdy. I really like how the artwork is intertwined with the text at times rather than sectioned off at the bottom or on it's own page. My favorite story of the three is The Graveyard Book, which has a nice balance of creepy with lovable characters and an interesting, though segmented, plot. Coraline is more of a horror story and the creepiest of the three and a really good read. Fortunately the Milk balances out the other two by adding adventure and fun to the set. All three are great to read aloud to someone.

Big hit in our family, highly recommend
Great set, but I had to wait to read it. We are big readers and everyone has their own bookcases in their rooms for their collections. I occasionally buy “house books”, books I think multiple people in the house will enjoy. This set was one of those purchases. When they came my 12yo took The Graveyard Book, my 11yo took Coraline and my 7yo took Fortunately the Milk. They have been read and exchanged and have been a big hit.

Awesome stories and pictures!
Bought this for my daughter and she loved it. This would be a good choice for families with multiple kids of different ages because there's something for everyone. The stories are great and so are the pictures. Really livened up the bedtime reading routine!
