Safety Depot BA16 LED Traffic Wand

Best light I have used. I use for traffic control. Mine is still going strong for over a year. Other lights broke on me within 4 months max, cheap quality. This one very good. Others in the unit bought/buying too. Most popular in the unit. Only downfall is the rope by the hand to have better grip ripped off within the first 5 months. Not sure if others had same problem.

Very nice light feels very sturdy and the magnet is awesome strong it's got a nice grip and the flashlight part is very bright as well, this light uses 2 c batteries that cost about 5 dollars for 2 name brand batteries.

I use these as Marshaling wands at the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Nice size and colors are bright. I love the flash light option too. Sturdy and dependable.

Obviously from the price this is not a high quality flash light. It works well, puts out good, visible light and will work well for traffic control. My only dissatisfaction is the length. to get it in my bag I have to unscrew the bulbs from the body and put some tape over the batteries. Not a big deal.

Do not buy lower priced units from other makers if wand will be used anywhere other than a parking lot. This is bare bones minimum quality for road use.Do not let batteries corrode in this unit as style of construction does not allow proper cleaning once corrosion is present. Any hard cleaning, scraping, scrubbing to remove corrosion will usually result in terminals and connectors breaking beyond reasonable repair so it is best to avoid leaving batteries in if it is not going to be used frequently.

I have used two of these in all kinds of weather (except cold). They have been dropped repeatedly. They have proved to be reliable and useful both day and night. Highly recommended.

Purchased two sets of these, great construction and fit comfortably in my hands. However, if you are purchasing these to have use of a white LED, its not worth it. After purchasing my first set, I use them for about a week directing traffic and the white LED stopped working. I purchased a second set and was just going to use the first set as back-up. Once again after about a week, the White LED stopped working on the second set. Didn't take a chance on a third set and just use the flashing and steady lights on these wands. Those still work

I use it for directing traffic as a volunteer. It provides very good visibility. On flash mode, the flash is very fast, which is what I want. Also has a built in flashlight mode, which is useful.
