ProCase Leather Case for Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, Stand Folio - Black

After purchasing a Galaxy Tab S2 I was looking for some kind of a protective case to help protect it, preserve it, and still be able to use it. I was afraid that at some point it would slip out of my hands or that I would drop it. I didn't find anything that I liked locally so I began to search on Amazon. I searched through a lot of cases and reviews on Amazon before deciding to take the chance on this case from ProCase. I will read through a lot of reviews reading what others buyers have to say about a product before making my final decision, and purchasing this case was no exception. Reading these reviews prompted me to purchase this case sight unseen. I was skeptical of what kind of quality I could expect especially at this price. I trusted the reviewers before me and they did not let me down. I am very pleased so far with this purchase, The case itself is designed to fit the S2 tablet. It appears to be very well made and comes in a variety of leather choices. The tablet slides easily into the protective sleeve and once inside it feels like it is secure. A nice 'snug' fit. When you close the cover it 'snaps' closed magnetically providing a solid protective seal. The case itself can open up into a stand providing three different viewing angles. For me though it feels very comfortable in my hands when I am using it and I am not as worried that the tablet is going to slip out of my hands and crash to the floor. And if it does I feel better knowing that the case is there to cushion the fall and protect it. The case does have an outer pocket that can be used. And by the way, it comes with a pen/stylus that can be attached to the outside of the case. I paid about $10.00 just on a stylus when I got my tablet! This is great product at a great price! You won't regret buying this case.

**This review is for the red case, used with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (Model No. SM-T813) This is the perfect case for my new Galaxy Tab. It closes with a magnet, it protects the device well, it looks great, and best of all, it's easy to use. The design is so perfect that I have to wonder why this particular design is so hard to find, and why so many other cases are made with other designs. I've had several tablets before, and bought cases for all of them. These are the other, most common types of cases: (1) One of the most common design in cases you'll find is the kind where you stand the tablet up by folding the cover back and tucking it into a tab. Like this one: ProCase Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Case - Stand Folio Cover Case . This type of case is fine. It works, and they usually have a magnetic closure. Its unique feature is the elastic hand strap, which is handy if you hold your tablet in your hand more often than setting down when you use it. The disadvantage is that it's surprisingly annoying to have to fold-and-tuck every time you put your tablet down. (2) The second type of case is this one: Samsung Tab S2 9.7 CASE, Fulland Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Tablet 360 Rotating Stand Cover . This one has the good stand design where it's easy to just open up the tablet case and immediately set it on a stand. The advantage of this case is that it lets you rotate the screen. The problem with this screen is that the rotating circle in the back wears a groove in the back of your tablet. This doesn't affect the function of the tablet, but who wants the back of their tablet to become worn out by using a case? So I would say that that is a flaw. Also, this type of case usually stays closed with elastic, not a magnet. Again, it's not a terrible thing, but obviously a magnet closure is better. For almost every tablet I've ever bought cases for, these two types of cases are very easy to find, which many variations of colors and brands available. Okay, so onto THIS case - like I said, it's basically perfect and it has everything you could possibly want, except for the option to rotate the screen). For that, I simply stand it on its side. In addition to the awesome magnet closure and the ability to simply put it on a stand without any fuss at 3 different angles, it comes with a pocket outside, and a pen loop with a pen enclosed - a regular ballpoint with a touchscreen stylus on the other end. It also just looks really nice. It's well-made, elegant, and looks like it will last me for years. Conclusion: This is the perfect case. For the other types of designs, you can find many options for the brands/colors. But this type of case for this tablet, at Amazon, the ProCase is the only type I have found.

We bought this case for our Samsung Galaxy S2 9.7" tab and we'vehad it for a few months now. It fits perfectly! Our 3 year old daughter uses this tab 99% of the time, so it gets dropped. Shipping was uneventful and it arrived quickly...a day before the projected date. The price was great at just under $20. It fits like a glove. The buttons are easily accessible and easy to push, the camera is unobstructed, and the headphone jack and charge port are perfect and easily accessible as well. The magnet closure works perfectly. The screen shuts off when you close it and it stays shut really well. The positions for standing all work fine, and the tab stays put when you stand it up. The velcro that holds the case on the tab is great... heavy duty velcro and it sticks tight. I've never had the velcro loosen up or come unstuck...ever. The case itself if nice and thick...very sturdy. It's got a good weight to it without being too heavy or bulky. Our 3 yo daughter can tote it around easily and open and fold it or stand it up on its side just fine. I like the design...we ordered the polka dot one. It's a good pattern and the colors are such that it's fine for kids or adults. While our daughter is very careful with the tab, she is a toddler, so it's been dropped a few times. Not a scratch on the tab...nor the case. We have all hardwoods, tile, and finished concrete floors so it's always dropped on to a hard floor...not carpet. This case protects the tab well. Overall...We love this case! It protects the tab really well...leaving no scratches, dents, chips...not so much as a mark (even on the case), when the tab is dropped onto hard surfaces. It's a really well designed, sturdy case. It's aesthetically pleasing, and extremely functional. It's passed multiple toddler tests and both the tab and the case continues to "survive" without a scratch. You can't beat this for the money. Add a screen protector and you're good to go! I don't feel the need to go to Otter and the like after getting this case. It seriously is doing the job that well. When a tab is used by a toddler who is, in general, rough on her stuff no matter what it is, and the case on it is unscathed as well as the tab...well, that's all the proof I need that it gets the job done! Again, we've had this case on the tab for a few months now and the tab and case still look brand new. I would definitely purchase this case again, or one for a different tab...it's that good!!!

My case arrived at my doorstep swiftly which was a joy. It is a nice case - very sturdy, and holds your tablet securely. There are three horizontal angles for which your tablet can be placed. I was under the impression (my bad) that this case also had a vertical position, other than turning the entire case and tablet sideways and sitting it up like a book; it does not. I had one that did have a vertical position for another tablet, and thought this the same - this one for the galaxy has three horizontal positions but no vertical. Just so you know. But it is very nice, with a pen and pen holder, as well as a mild magnet on the flap of the case to keep the tablet case closed when not in use. The absolute only complaint I could have about this tablet case, is the bulkiness and weight it adds to an otherwise sleek and lightweight tablet. On the other-hand, I am quite certain if I were to drop my tablet now, the case would work to keep the tablet safe. I love the color of the case and the leather is nice. Definitely a nice tablet cover.

The cover fit my tablet perfectly. The quality seems to be exceptional, and even better than I expected from an unseen product. It arrived on the date told to be expected....before dark-thirty. I recommend this seller 100%.

I really like this case for my Galaxy TAB S2! It fits perfectly, and the case holds the tablet well, it doesn't "sag" in the cover, like one of my other cases for a different tablet! The flap that holds the tablet into the case has velcro to keep it in place, which is awesome! (When there is no velcro, it can be annoying, cause then the tablet sags, and cutouts can then mis-align, and I can't plug stuff in to the tablet, without constantly re positioning the tablet) Not a problem for me with this case, as it fits snugly and is held in place with the velcro on the flap! I really like the choices of three different "stops" to prop the tablet on in landscape mode for reading. The stops are just the right size to keep the tablet from shifting its position, and are stitched, not glued, onto the case, as are all the different parts. They even paid attention to the color of the thread used to stitch the contrasting colored parts of the tablet. There is a pocket on the front of the cover you can slip a few pieces of paper into, or maybe a flash drive or memory card or cable. The logo is pressed into the leather, and looks professional. The cover seems very well made and seems like it will last a long time. I got the black cover with the tan leather inside, and it is sharp looking! My only issue is that the loop to hold the stylus is designed for a thin stylus, and mine are too big in diameter, so if I want to use that feature, I would have to get a thinner stylus. I rarely use a stylus, so this is not really an issue for me just something to be aware of. Overall, I am very happy with this cover, and would buy from this company again! When comparing all of my leather tablet covers, this one has the nicest design and appearance, with that little extra eye for detail in the design that is not common for this price range! Highly recommend!

I bought this for my Galaxy S2 9.7, model T813. The product description was explicit about the models it would fit...very good and very helpful! The tablet fits perfectly and tightly with no overlap. The case itself seems tightly constructed; sturdy and strong; and appropriately soft. The magnetic latch works very well, turning on the device when I open. These attributes combine to provide a durable and attractive look and feel and ease of use. It feels like a solid portfolio. I feel my tablet is very well protected. Also, when I bought it, a great price! 5 stars!! I'll still award 5 stars, but there a a couple factors I am less thrilled about. The pen holder loop serves no purpose for me. The overall aesthetic would be better without it...for me. Otherwise, it looks very good! Also, I wish the front cover had an opening for the rear facing camera. Thus, as the front cover is folded over, the device is more easily managed and the camera is not blocked. Presently, the front cover must be held open to use the rear facing camera, which is a bit awkward. I suppose this is due to avoid potentially providing a "tunnel" the camera would need to look through. BUT these are two minor inconveniences, again for me. Highly recommended.

For the price this is a nice case, and at least everything is working fine right now. As with any case, please realize that buttons will always be slightly less accessible, but they are still able to be accessed with not much difficulty. The quality of the case is good, not amazing, but for the price it is more than I expected. I can't speak about the durability much, as I feel that needs to be tested over a long period of time, but for now I'll leave it at 5 stars. I'm not sure how to comment on the versatility section. I mean, it DOES come with a pen, which at first I thought was a fancy stylus, but nope, it's a pen. My one point of paranoia is over the 3 leather strips inside the case, which touch the face of the tablet. Could they crack the screen if compressed too much, whereas another case wouldn't have that issue? Hopefully no one ever has to find out the hard way. They seem harmless, but I'm not fond of anything pressing against the screen. I've looked at several different cases for my new S2, and I have to say that this was one of the better looking ones, and it doesn't disappoint. If you're looking for an inexpensive case that isn't super fancy, but holds your tablet well, then I would recommend giving this one a shot. I've had several cases in the past and this is by far one of the better ones.

The case is decent good meterial and good quality. The Sleep and wake feature is extremly usefull and the free stylus pen is also a good addon. But i extremly dissapointed with the weight of the product.The case increses the weight of the tab to at least 3 times and it will will be a pain in ass to hold the tab for long duration for watching movies considering the fact that we will not always watch movies with placing the tab on stands

Very sturdy. Good protection. Though it tends to make the tab a little heavier I have no complaints for I think it is required to safeguard the tab since it is handled by my kid.
