Blood on the Altar: The Coming War Between Christian vs. Christian

There have been many articles and books written about the division in theChurch, but this book is bold enough to present these divisions in light ofJesus' words for the last days that many will be offended and brother willturn against brother. This is an excellent read and has enlightened me onjust how this could happen and is happening. Tom Horn and the other writers'words have brought me out of my slumber and confirmed for me that we must bediscerning in theses last days. My daughter goes to a Methodist Church thatteaches that all people will be caught up in God's loving arms when theydie. While this is a nice way to think, it is not biblical. This book putsbelievers in Jesus on notice that we are more and more a minority and wemust be prepared to die for faith in the one true God and his son, Jesus asthe only way to him. Brilliant book!

Reveals there will be a war between the liberal and conservative Christians.We see this now with the Presbyterian recently approving same sex marriages.The liberal demoninations will all approve of same sex marriages. The truetraditional demoninations will not as God does not and will not approve.We as Christians are not to be of this world as this world is ruled by satan.Same with pro choice abortions. The liberal Christians say I won't have anabortion but a woman must choice freely one way or the other. This isstraddling the fence. The traditional Christian knows abortion is murder. So,we see another issue dividing the Christians.The liberal churches usually do not believe in the literal view of the Bible. Not sowith the traditional church.There is also divides within the traditional churches on different issues. One beingreplacement theology. The is a movement who believe the christian church have nowreplace Jews as God's people. This a damned lie from satan. Jesus will judge Christiansand God will judge the unbelief of Jews. The true Jews are still God's chosen people.Remember Ezekiel 37 and the valley of the dry bones.satan knows divide and conquer weakens the Body of Christ.Great book and a must read.

When I started out reading this book, I was miffed by some really weird and paranoid essays by Missler and especially Lake (whose essay does not belong in this book, as it's sheer guesswork) I really like this book. Papers by men like Gary Stearman read simply and elegantly, like something from a wise old man surveying a world that has mutated far from one he knew. These authors' words were about our world going insane, how people are doing things and loving stuff now that is just bad and evil. It's easy to verify what he wrote: look outside. People kill for little green papers, music and television display open pornography, 'After School Satan' is coming to public elementary schools across the country, and schools react absurdly to harmless things going on in them sending suspending those who pray while tolerating those who sin. While some other authors I read were not as honest about their concerns, and tripped themselves up in weirdness, I liked this book.One thing I'd like to add is that those who worry about the end times are those who really aren't with God. God will help us through these coming trials. He helped Paul through some major stuff, and Stephen through stoning, and all those who died for Him. So it's not as big a deal as like Alex Jones would have you believe. Those who know God, stay with HIm. Those who don't: seek Him while He may be found.

It has been a while since I read a book in one sitting, but the subject matter in this book is too important to ignore, and there simply haven't been other works on the same subject. The contemporary Church is morphing, dividing, to the point that is becoming two different things. We are living in very troubled times, and individuals will have no choice but to choose one side or the other. Will one become a universalist, regarding value in any path to God, or will the Christian choose to stand up to the conservative, Biblical teaching that Christ is not at all, a way to God, but THE Way, the ONLY way? Like it or not, we will be forced to choose one way or the other, and better to consider the debate now while one can do so without threat.I don't particularly agree with absolutely everything in this book (though I do agree with most of it), but the material is too important, too provocative, not to debate and consider with a focused mindset. At this point, there is no better work presenting this dichotomy, that the Christian Church will divide and become its own worst enemy.

I found the book to be intriguing and informative. Well worth the read.

I enjoy most books by Tom Horn.

Really is an eye-opener as I agree with Horn...there's coming a day when divisive issues could almost destroy an individual's faith and the Christian fellowship they so dearly love...Conquer and divide the age old weapons welded by Satan...Need to use the book as a basis to unite Christian Brothers and sisters to stand firmly of God's Word and not let the climate of political correctness dictate the societal discussions necessary to change HEARTS. The challenge is still one-on-one evangelism and expressions of God's love of the sinner and yet knowledge of his hatred and judgment that comes from the sins that entangles so many in our world today (Isn't that the reason Jesus Christ came to free one of their sins and God judges their sins through the Cross of Christ!!!) But many still need to look again at the woman caught in adultery and what Jesus said "No man condemns you, Go and sin no more! That's the message that should unite Christians today and their mission in today's society

If I would have known that the writers were protestants (Luther lovers), I would not have spent a cent on this book. Some ideas are interesting, but there is a lot of heresy written, and insults to the real Faith.

Highlights many of the challenges faced by the true church (true meaning those who believe in a literal interpretation of Scripture; Salvation by Grace through Jesus Christ's shed blood on the cross; substitutionary atonement) in this fast increasing "age of apostasy". It also highlights how technology is hastening the end and how it will play a key role in seducing, controlling and ushering in the Antichrist. I also like how it exposes dominion theology for the lie it is...as true Christians we must continue to support Israel and pray for her. GOD's promises to Abraham and his descendants still stand and are not replaced by the church! We must support Israel and pray for her. I really enjoyed this book. Thanks to the writers and Praise God for inspiring this message...despite all the turmoil in our world He is in control...our sovereign Lord has all in hand. how Excellent is His Holy Name!

It was good that every chapter was written by a different person. I can't say I agree with everything but it was thought provoking and held my attention throughout. There is a lot to digest and this is the kind of book I will probably read again and still get more from it.

I loved this book. Amazing information about how our heavenly Father communicates with us. Scary to learn what is actually going on in this world. Would rather know than be ignorant. Thanks to all authors, you are a blessing to God's people and His kingdom

EXCELLENT BOOK!!! Tom Horn again provides "meat" to those of us who continue to seek the truth, the full truth and nothing but the truth. . . . as we follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a recommended "read" for any believer (or "seeker") who want to be better prepared for what is unfolding right now.
