This mat was perfect for my needs. 8’ x 6’ ( picture aspect doesn’t do justice.). Purple yoga mat is separate, I left it in place for reference of size.It came in a nice bag and Velcro straps, storage would be convenient.The mat rolled out fairly flat and laid flat quickly. There wasn’t much of an odor brand new and none within a day.The mat is 7mm (1/4 inch) which is thicker than a yoga mat. But, the thickness is just about right for exercising. Add a yoga mat and this provides ample cushion for yoga or stretching.The mat seems durable enough to exercise with shoes on. I won’t be using shoes. But, I suppose I could.The Active Gear Company is very proactive about making sure you enjoy their products. Which is great.I have also bought a couple of their waist trimmer belts. Also a good product.

Use over cement in basement. Perfect for floor exercises. Perfect combination of softness and durability

Ordered now 2 of these 6x8' mats to replace thin 3x7' mats, and so happy to invest the money. I love having the extra width. We replaced our basement carpet and pad with vinyl planks and we needed extra cushion. The thickness of this mat is perfect. Soft enough for plyometrics, but not too squishy. Heavy weights do not leave a detent. They actually roll up nicely, but are awkward a bit to move in this position as expected. Very happy with this investment.

Nice big size and great quality. Has a very heavy chemical smell to it so be sure to let it air out for a few days but best mat I have ever bought

I ordered 6x8, it comes in a huge/tall box as you can imagine. The product material is amazing, anti-slip and great for workout. It does not have a smell to it and it lays flat after 1 or 2 days. Recommend 100%

This is exactly what we wanted and what we expected. It’s big enough for 2 to workout. It is durable and has perfect amount of padding. Highly recommend!

I purchased this mat to replace a puzzle piece gym mat that I currently have. I was tired of it coming apart while exercising. I actually wound up just placing the active gear mat on top of the puzzle piece one, and it is working perfectly, especially since I generally work out barefoot. The only drawback is that it is a tad slippery if you sweat, but I am hoping for that to change with a little age.

We like the sturdiness of the mat, but only two shortfallsSize: even though the dimensions are 6' X 8' it is a trifle short for two people to work out side-by-side. If one is in the front and the other person at the back then it is ok. The size should ideally be 6' X 10'Not ideal for yoga, for some reason the matt is too slippery when doing the yoga poses so there is a slight scare of slipping. We use it only for workouts and avoid using it for yoga.Other than these two observations we are very happy with the purchase.

The quality of the mat is amazing. I use it for HIIT workouts and it doesn't move, keeps me from sliding, and protects my floor. Easy to clean by a quick wipe, and always rolls up easily after. Definitely recommend.

Perfect size for our room. Great cushion for our workouts. On laminate flooring and doesn’t slip or move around during high impact jumping moves.
