These are good quality, with proper spring tension and a nice finish. They are strong enough to take some weight, but of course they are not rated for suspending a person.

We bought these for our baseball players' gear bags to hang on the fence. These clips aren't heavy or bulky at all, but have proven to be high quality & heavy duty.

I have used these in several applications and they worked great. They are thick and did not work when used on a smaller grommet application because of size, but i have many more uses and they appear very sturdy. Actually ordered 4 more after receiving the first set. Utilized the first set on a backpacking trip. Definitely recommend.

I used this product to replace the strap that came with my climbing chalk bag. The rings were very helpful, they allowed both loops to be connected with one of the clips. The description is not very clear on the approved uses of this clip, I would like more detailed information other than what its supposed weight rating is.

These clips are being used to connect ground anchors to latches to secure a shed/vegetable stand against the wind. They are strong and sturdy, easy to operate, and a great deal for the money.

I use these in my garage gym pulley system. So far they've proven reliable and scratch resistant. I was a little worried that the metal wires on the closure might bend under stress, but so far they've held up well.

I wouldn’t climb with these in spite of the great tensile strength claimed, but overall this is a quality manufactured product which would be ideal for most non-climbing purposes, for instance camping, hammock suspension, boating or otherwise. What I particularly like is that the mouth of the gate opening is not “catchy” as in many low priced binders. The lip of the gate is nicely rounded and powder coated so it doesn’t catch on nylon strips and whatever else goes through the gate. I use these to keep my kayak on top of my car with nylon straps, and the non-catchiness is a real benefit when frequently putting it on and off. These look and feel quality made.

The red color is really pretty. I use it to hold my backpack full of equipment when I go to the stable to ride.

Purchased these carabiners for general use….work well for intended use.do not use for supporting heavy items or climbing as stated.
