It lets a minimal amount of coffee grounds through. Coffee grounds getting through hasn't been a problem for me. Easy to clean. I used to gave a reusable one made with plastic but I thought metal would better.

Fits great in a Mr. Coffee 5 Cups. If anything, it'll improve the taste of your favorite coffee (my wife did notice it; l didn't).PROS:- Easy to clean: just hit it against the kitchen's sink and the coffee will go down the hole (it's good for the pipes, it'll help preventing them from clogging). Then rinse it a bit.- It'll last a long time.CONS:- You can only make up to line 3 on the pot (for 3 cups) with 4 coffee spoons or the water will flood the filter then go over it.- You'll have to clean the filter every time as opposed to dispose it and use a new (paper) one.* Good to know:I could well have removed a star for the following:the filter has a handle (see pictures). The ends of this handle (where the handle attaches to the filter) are a bit sharp and can potentially cut your finger when washing the filter. This should ideally be taken care of in future badges.

This is the best filter i have ever bought. the fine holes are so abundant that it allows great filtration while keeping all the grounds in without seeping into the pot.. I love it. it's all stainless steel, easy to clean and has an easy access handle that doesn't get in the way at all. great product!

I like this much more than the plastic/mesh type. This is very easy to clean, does not stain, and I feel like it does not add any flavor to the coffee.

Es muy difícil encontrar en México filtros para cafeteras pequeñas de 4 tazas, así que compraba de papel de 12 y los recortaba.Este filtro no solo quedó perfecto por tamaño, sino que además ahora tiro menos basura.Un poco caro por see importado, pero no me arrepiento

Me encanto!! Porfin pude utilizar mi cafetera Mr.Coffee porque con su filtro original se tapaba ,no salia el cafe porque caia el agua al filtro pero no bajaba el café y se desbordaba quedaba toda la cafetera llena de cafe molido y con este filtro si baja super bien .
