Well I can safely say that yes, this glitter does biodegrade, I've now seen it happen in person. I was hoping to use this for a hair gel, but after a couple of weeks in the gel, the glitter disappeared! It appears that heat and liquids eventually biodegrade the glitter. I won't give it a bad review because biodegrading is exactly what this glitter is supposed to do, but I would caution people working on projects with it that it will not last long in wet or warm material. It could be pretty good for paper projects and glue though. It would also work fine when added over the top of wet make ups for shoots.

Got this product (Eco Friendly Biodegradable Glitter 100g / 3.5oz) for $9.03. Tried it on my own skin. The shininess is less than average glitter, and half of the glitter look gray. Also I burned some over candle flame, the glitter turned into something thick and sticky. Anyway I am very skeptical about the "biodegradable" glitters available in the market. I just hope it is really degradable. "True bio-glitter is based from plant cellulose derived from eucalyptus trees. There is only one manufacturer that has certification that they use eucalyptus that is responsibly sourced and that is the only plant-based manufacturer we work with. Aug 28, 2018"

I'm really happy with the amount of glitter that is included in the package. For the price it's an absolute steal! I plan on using this glitter to create bath bombs so I'll update my review later on regarding that. I love the color selection the company offers and I'll definitely be trying some other colors out in the future. This particular color is stunning and I can't wait to try it out!

I love that it’s biodegradable. This glitter is definitely “a little goes a long way”The package was larger than expected so that’s always a plus.Used it for a BathBomb kit I made for my daughter she’s used it several times and loves it!

The media could not be loaded.  I was so excited to find biodegradable glitter for such a good price available with Prime shipping. This color is perfect and the holographic sparkle is so eye catching, it’s going to be perfect for a friend’s bachelorette party!(Photo next to a standard sharpie marker for size reference.)

Eco-conscious glitter lovers, rejoice! Finally there’s a glitter choice you don’t have to feel guilty about. (I’ve heard glitter is bad news for the environment.) My husband still hates glitter for the messy factor, though. lol We used this for my daughter’s Halloween costume. She was a devil. I put some Aquaphor (kind of like Vaseline) on her arms so the glitter would stick. I sprayed her hair with a little hairspray to make the glitter stick there. The hairspray worked at first but I’m not sure how long it held onto the glitter. There might be a better solution out there in terms of glitter adhesive for hair.

I love glitter but was concerned about the effect on the environment. I bought this for when I want to sprinkle it around on black table clothes for our art shows. It looks great and there is a lot in this container! I hope I use it all before it biodegrades. haha!

I am a professional face painter & glitter artist that only uses biodegradable glitter. I have bought the white, fine glitter and the silver holographic chunky glitter. Delivery was very fast. The white, fine glitter is not very sparkly, nothing wrong with it, just different to others I've used. It is more pearly with a hint of sparkle but ok for adding to a blend. The chunky silver holographic is lovely, good size pieces. I spoke to the company about the white glitter, they replied quickly and I can exchange via Amazon no problem if I choose to. I am very happy with this company so far and have ordered more.

Very big bits of glitter. Did not work at all for what I wanted to use it for. Colour leaked out of them with use too. Ended up binning the pack as I could not use them. Good thing they're biodegradable!

In this day and age of our environment I have been looking for biodegradable glitter and this is just what I wanted. Sadly though I couldn’t recycle the packaging it came in 🤔Arrived quickly.
