These staples are as described. Two issues are that they are coated with a black greasy substance that will stain your hands and is hard to clean off and that they don't come in a box as the listing illustrated. They come in a bag inside another bag with the curved end pointing down which makes them hard to remove from the bag due to the pointed ends hanging on and sticking through the bags.

Used these handy staples to secure some sheets while I started grass seed below. They secured the sheets really well and certainly held better than 6" staples, but the staples have rusted after only using them for about 2 weeks. Disappointed in the rusting I have to say.

I wanted something to hold landscape borders in place. Most staples from other suppliers are only 3 or 4 inches long, but I wanted something longer for permanency. The items themselves are perfect for me....some needed hammering but that was due to some gravel in the soil we had to make it past.Having said that, I would recommend that they NOT be sent in a soft envelope. With sharp ends, one penetrated the envelope and would have cut me had I not seen it first. I'm hoping the mail carrier wasn't cut.

Very strong. 4 of these can hold down a 10x5x6 greenhouse in a wind storm. I know bc mike blew away b4 I got the idea to steak the bottom rails w These just one in each side.I originally got them just to hold the black tarp down under mulch etc.

Obviously, they will not pound into rock or tree trunks, I saw where people said they bent, They are the heaviest gage I have ever used and don't believe there are heavier and did not bend for me. They are also a foot long and for the sands of Florida perfect to hold solidly in place. These are the best staple I have ever used.

Everything I needed. The staples are heavy and go into the ground easily, but stay put very securely. I used them to secure the edges of bird netting to protect my berry bushes, and I'm very happy with how they are holding, with strong winds.

These are strong, sturdy and have nice sharp ends so they go into the ground easily. The only negative is that they got black all over my hands when installing then rusted very quickly. I would suggest spraying them with a clear coat of spray paint before installing if you don't want them to rust.

These substantial staples saved me. My new puppy was pulling up the newly placed sod and these staples prevented any further damage. You can mow over them without worry. I highly recommend them!
