Perfect for musicians on stage and in the studio
I've uploaded customer-supplied images above to show just how much gear one of these is capable of holding and how small the stage or studio footprint is. When you factor in the price it's plain to see that this rack is not only a bargain, but a flexible platform for mounting components. One other characteristic that the images reveals is this is not a table-top only rack. They work very well on the floor. The rack itself is easy to assemble and is built like a tank. I have a bass amp head and a power amp, plus a power conditioner in one of my racks that, combined, weighs around 50 pounds. The rack is not stressed or strained by this weight, and could probably hold another 50 pounds safely and reliably. Another plus is it comes with a bag of high quality mounting screws for components, eliminating that expense (I was expecting to have to order Raxxess Rack Screws With Washers Hardware (Pack of 25) , which turned out to be completely unnecessary.) My only complaint is the rubber feet caps easily fall off, but a little glue rectified that rather trivial problem. If you need portability, reliability and value for smaller gear suites that are frequently moved (such as setting up on stages) this is an ideal solution for rack mounted equipment. I am so pleased with mine that I intend to purchase another one, bringing the total to three.

A perfect solution for desktop 19 inch rack storage
This is the second one of these I have purchased. It is a fine product. The first one I bought was used to mount a number of ethernet switches for my home business when the entire house was wired with cat5 and fiber. This latest one has been used to hold a number of musical recording effects modules. This is a great product because it is the minimum solution for a desktop, and yet is strong enough for the job, and light enough to move around. It is priced very nicely for what it is. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is perfect for anyone that wants to mount a number of 19 inch modules, and still have access to the back of the units. I am very impressed with the manufacturing of the unit. The welds are strong and it is easily assembled in seconds. I am happy to put my name on this review and let people know that I stand by this product as a wonderful solution at a great price.

Almost perfect
For some reason, bent pieces of metal that are sold for network gear are outrageously expensive. This item is the exception. While this is listed in Amazon's "Musical Instruments" category, it seems that based on the reviews most are using it for home labs, which is what I'm doing too. The item comes packed in a long skinny box. As usual, Amazon ships in boxes about twice the necessary size. No complaints though, it was Prime eligible which is cool. There are 4 main pieces to the rack - a left and right rail, a top rail, and a rear rail. Also included is a Post-it® note size set of instructions and a bag of mounting screws. Putting the rack together takes no more than a few minutes. The quality of the rack feels sturdy. I've got 7 pieces of equipment on it right now and it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. The 1-star deduction comes because of the mounting holes. Some of them don't seem to be drilled all the way through, which requires really muscling the screw into the hole until it takes shape. Out of the 28 screws I put in, I'd say about half had this problem. As other reviews have said, if you're using this for switches and routers, you really only have 11 spaces due to the backward angle that the rack has for stability. I've got a router on the 2nd space from the bottom and the back of it nearly touches the ground. This doesn't warrant a further reduction in stars since I was aware of this issue before I bought it. I may see about using this for a rackmount power strip or something. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase. It's extremely well priced, is nice and strong, and fits nicely under my desk.

Very good for what it is
Nice and sturdy. I wouldn't say "heavy duty" because it is a desktop unit, but more than adequate for that task. Super simple to assemble, took 5 minutes, has the screws for mounting the accessories included, which is helpful. Fairly light and minimal in design, which is exactly what you want for home studio work. I wouldn't be mounting any heavy amps in it, but for effects, or like I'm doing, a Mackie mixer and one effects unit, it is perfect. It would probably be fine for a lighter D class amp in the bottom, to keep it from being top heavy. You will need to keep that in mind with this (or any desktop rack), you want the heavier stuff on bottom. Another note is that the bottom space is usable, but it needs to be something that isn't too deep. Since you are at an angle, it limits this one space to about 6" deep or you hit the table. Another thing to know if you are mounting a Mackie 1604 or similar mixer: The top support bar can be removed once you mount the mixer, giving you better access to the inputs. This is quite handy. The mixer itself then becomes the support, which is not a problem. With that mixer, in top load configuration, it leaves one space at the bottom for an effects unit.

It works and it's cheap.
Nice piece, for the money. It's a little crude, but hey, it's less than $30. I've got probably 40lb of gear in it and it's quite stable. One nice thing is that it uses traditional #10 rack screws - a lot of the less-expensive stuff in this market space seems to use metric fasteners. My only complaint - and it's both minor, and a feature of all 'tilted' racks such as this - is that the lowermost space only has about four or five inches of depth before the trailing edge protrudes below the bottom of the legs. I have an old Tripp-Lite power conditioner in the bottom, and it *just* clears.

OnStage Rack stand
Great item - certainly exceeded my expectations. Worth every penny of it's low price. Nothing else close to this price point does what this thing does. Easy to assemble, very very strong and stable. Sits nicely on a tabletop for my DJ setup. Having the backslope has it's pluses and minuses - good for rack mounted equipment, but if you're putting a shelf in, a few washers to shim to make the shelf sit level are necessary. I used a machine bolt nut with an ID larger than the rack screws, and my Odyssey shelf is perfectly level, mounted reverse (facing out like a desk). Included rack screws, so no need to buy those separately. Amazon shipping/order processing perfect as always.

Sturdy product + AMAZ8NG CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!
UPDATE: I bought a few of these racks 7 years ago for my Cisco network equipment. They are sturdy under what is sometimes near a 100 lb load of equipment and have never failed me. Recently I lost one of the thumb wingnuts that hold the upper support bar to the frame. I am not some large volume customer, so I emailed the company asking if I could purchase replacement bolts. They said they didn't have the bolts available separately at the moment, but as a courtesy they would offer me warranty replacement for free. I thought they meant the bolts. I sent them the required photos on a Monday, thinking I'd receive the replacement parts via snail mail or cheapest shipping method in a few days. TUESDAY I RECEIVED AN ENTIRE REPLACEMENT RACK - THEY OVERNIGHTED A FULL REPLACEMENT RACK TO ME FOR A SEVEN (7) YEAR OLD PURCHASE. I was floored! Not only are the products durable, sturdy, and last (there is absolutely nothing else wrong with the old unit except for the missing bolt(s),) but this is the kind of customer service that you don't forget. If your business relies on your equipment, this is someone to buy from. They stand by their products, and will get it fixed overnight if need be.. I will ABSOLUTELY be buying more if their equipment for my network, IT and Ham Radio projects in the near future. Thank you for amazing customer service!

Was it used? Quality Control issues.
Product works. I ordered it direct with Amazon Prime so there's no third party involvement. Good: It comes with 48 1.25" rack screws which is a plus since I don't remember seeing anything about that in the product description, but there are no washers. Instructions assembly are included with the screws. Most people probably don't need the instructions. It came in an Amazon box and when I opened the Amazon box the actual product box was inside. The product box was open and pieces were ready to fall out. One side sits forward of the other like it was torqued somehow. It leans further out. It's not a deal breaker and I won't send it back because of it, but I think some people would have an issue with it. I'm sure it will hold up, but it's noticeable and odd for something supposedly brand new. There are 6 0.75" thumb knob screws in addition to the 48 1.25" rack screws. One thumb knob screw to mount the top plate was severely rusted which is also odd since it came in plastic wrap and the screw was in the plate. One of the legs had something bouncing around in it so I took off a rubber stopper and a washer fell out. I guess that means I don't have to purchase one separate washer. Cool!? (Depends on whether you ask was it used or not.) The product itself will work as I said and the price is good for rack space, but I have to wonder where is the quality control?

Muy útil y resistente.
Hay otros que por el mismo precio se doblan en cuanto le añades unos cuantos módulos. Éste no. Es muy resistente y ligero. Yo he puesto seis módulos.

Awesome stuff.
As sturdy as anything you'd ever need for rack equipment! I only have enough stuff for 7 slots but it gives lots of room to use the top bar as a handle and room for more units. Don't be sucked into a big studio desk like I was using before, my back is dead from having to go behind my desk all the time. Now I just gotta flip the rack around to add stuff and can use smaller desks. Simple and easy to set up. Mine came with screws, enough for all my stuff.
