Champion Reactor Work Out Bar

These bars are high quality. I was going to pay more for another name brand, but decided to give these a try first. I'm glad I did. the quality is the same as the other name brand, delivery was fast, and I saved a few bucks-that's a trifecta. I wouldn't pay too much attention to negative reviews, every now and then something may get damaged in delivery-it happens and could happen for any order. Hopefully customer service is as good as the product is.

Fair price, fast shipping. This arrived before much smaller items I ordered the same day. The work out bar has soft cushioning that makes it wonderful to use for a variety of excercises: chest press, curls, etc. I am very happy and would buy it again.

My gym has these bars and I love using them when they're available. With that said, I had some time to decide what was the ideal weight for what I like to do, and practice a bit before committing to a purchase. This one is almost exactly like the one at the gym, so I'm happy. Other reviews mentioned not liking certain aspects of the bar and its a bit of an investment if you end up not liking the size or weight or squishy texture (all things I love). I got the 9lb and its perfect to go over my shoulders for lunges, for repetitive arm lifts, or holding for ab exercises. Only problem was that the company put a sticker on the squishy foam and when I took the sticker off, it took the top of the foam off. Not a problem with a bar, but a real thoughtless move by whoever puts those stickers on.

I purchased the 18-lb. bar. The padding on it is great. The weight is balanced. It's very comfy on my shoulders while doing squats or other lower body work, and it's comfortable in the hands for upper body work. The only reason I wouldn't give this five stars is the SMELL! It's a weird, strong chemical, rubber smell. It gave me an awful headache the first few days I had it. I bought it over two months ago, and I can still smell the chemicals in it faintly! So be aware that while this is a comfortable padded bar to use in place of a barbell with plate weights, the odor is a bit of a concern from a health standpoint (although I'm not losing sleep over it). If you have strong sensitivity to chemical smells, this might be something you want to consider before buying.

I recently learned the benefits of weight bars during in-patient physical therapy. I checked for price and value and Amazon and the Champion ones seemed most reasonable. The rubber-like material makes them comfortable to use. I have several weights 4, 6, 9, and 15 for different exercise routines. These are good products except they have a weird smell when brand new. Perhaps a wipe down with a mild detergent would be in order.

I love the weighted bar. It is very comfortable to grip. The only slight is that the yellow band on the top and bottom do not adhere to the bar well and came off right away.

I got the 9 lbs stick, I play league of legends, this makes me feel like Wukong and I love it.I like spinning this around outside so I don't accidentally break anything, it's a pretty good workout even if you just stroll around with this stick, pretty sure I'm not using this as it is intended because I don't see anyone else spinning this around, but hey, it's really fun and everyone else should try it.
