does controller work with Wii U... or, and Game...???..

the game does not work with the gamepad only the remote plus

When you buy it from a third party does it come with both controller and game??

I bought this exact one off of amazon and it came with both the game and controller

How many players can play? Instructions imply you can add more than 2 wiimotes, but I'm unable to click on more, it is grayed.

Depending on the game some are single player only

What kind of adapter does the game WI I use what kind of plug

Do you mean the wii remote? It's wireless via wifi and infrared. It's also has proprietary plug for nunchucks. The wii itself again has its own proprietary plugs but has Nintendo NES controller connections or if you mean video than components or you can get an adapter for hdmi.
