Great scent and texture! Handy to have for moisturizing while sanitizing hands!

We are in a time now where hand sanitizer is as natural as breathing air. There are many different brands that claim many different things. I prefer this brand and make because I do not like the moisturizing ones as they leave a film on your hands that builds up and you have to physically wash off with soap and water. I have purchased this large version numerous time and will continue to. It stays in my house and I use it to refill my smaller ones for my car etc. etc. yes the price has gone up a bit and everyone wants something cheaper but this is a good bang for the buck. Scent-wise it smells clean and dissipates rather quickly! You can save your money and get these offbrand versions that smell like rotten tequila or you can spend a couple more dollars and get the one that you’ll actually use and not the one you’ll be sickened by using.TLDR;This is the holy grail of hand sanitizers in my opinion.

IMO, Purell is the absolute best hand sanitizer. Simple. Perfect consistency. Moisturizes, but not too much. Fragrance free. With both children and elderly people in our home, none of whom are very hygienic, these big bottles are perfect. Convincing the kids and old folks to use a squirt of Purell has been much more successful than getting them to actually wash their hands. I keep a bottle in every room and also use them to refill our smaller travel bottles. I also have a bottle at work, where we deal with clients of sometimes suspect cleanliness and their money, which is, of course, filthy. I've been ordering this from Amazon for quite some time. As others have said, do NOT depend on the "handle" to carry the bottles, and whoever packs and/or ships obviously doesn't understand what "This End Up" means. Fortunately, the packaging is secure enough to keep the bottles safe.

Overall, the product is good. It is just the straw attached to the pump that is not long enough. It sits 3-4 inches away from the bottom. Therefore it can be a waste if not able to use the pump to use the sanitizer all the way to the bottom of the container.

I keep.purell small bottles in my purse and car door.so I can refill them with this. I don't want to be without it.

Like some other reviewers, I received not one 2L bottle but two 1L bottles. Also, the pumps were separate in the Amazon box, while the bottles had flip-top caps in place. The tubes on the pump look about ~3cm too short to reach the bottoms of the bottles, had I deployed them. But I use these large bottles as motherships to refill smaller bottles (purse, backpack, car, etc.), so neither the flip-tops nor the bottle size are problematic for me. In fact, the flip-top caps work better than pumps when using these bottles to refill, not for direct use. But if your application is different (e.g., check-in desk at a restaurant), and you wanted one gigantic bottle with an appropriately sized pump, this might not be it.
