Number one I hate this book because this is SUPER EXTENSIVE ! Number two Icant stop here because too short...Jk plz plz make this BETTERRRRR!

A friend of mine passed this on to me as unreadable especially as he wasn't really interested in FAC but knew I was. It's so obviously written by someone who is little more than an obsessive (all things Manchester) fan who seems to glory in his association, alleged or otherwise, within the Factory circle. I kept hoping the style would mature but finally threw the towel in half way through. Quite pretty cover and holds the bedroom door open when we vacuum the carpet, but that's about it!

As a long time JD and NO fan, I already owned several books like Peter Hook's Unknown Pleasures, How not to run a club and Substance and Bernard Sumner's Chapter and Verse. Found this one at a bargain price. While it has its flaws, it is a good read and an an essential one for anyone interested in these bands and the stoy of the label.

Essential for any music fan. Superb for knowledge of the evolution of Manchester music.

Book is great as expected. My only problem was I supposedly bought a new copy of the book and the one they delivered was clearly used as it's a little bit broken on the borders. Not shopping from this seller again. Other than that good purchase. Delivery time was reasonably good too.
