It's a setup for 18% grey according to light condition so that white to come as white in the click
If you need to get your white balance accurate in the click.. go for it. Remember to be set your white balance against light source not targeting to your subject.

you love the pics coming out after setting the to PRE. I'am using it on D700 and the default PRE for it is d0. Do not put it to any other PRE and you might not see the affect.

Expose with ExpoDisc
Excellent product though a bit expensive. Works well both indoors and outdoors and with artificial light. Saves lot of time in post processing and gets away with White Balance guess working. A must for any serious photographer!

Great Tool for Custom White Balance
Digital camera need custom white balance calibration. It is always better to do prior than in post production. Expodisc gives accurate colours in every genre of photography.
