I've been following Brad mildly for some time, and love his philosophy and mission, but things just didn't connect until I read this book. On the one hand, everyone says "give away free content, be of value, and then people will buy", on the other, it's easier said than done, and not many appreciate the freebies. Brad's thing is Masterminds, and now I understand why! You get to build authority while offering free value, but really create a tribe of like minded people who align with your mission and support each other, if not just you. In this book, he breaks down the why, the how, and the what to say - it's not just strategy fluff, not is it only the step by step guide. A good mix of inspiration and practical information. Can't wait to start my own Mastermind!

The 8 Minute Mastermind is for anyone looking to grow their community to that next level. It offers a clear and concise format for running a successful mastermind.Over the years I have gotten to partake as well as lead many hours of masterminds. Brad's book brought up alot of points I had overlooked. Questions that had not been asked in group before.I am looking forward to bringing and applying these points to the mastermind group I belong to as well as starting another group shortly.As a bonus to the book, Brad has a great podcast of the same name that brings another dimension to it. Tons of value add there.Give it a go and apply the lessons well.

It's a good read, but not a great read. Lots of good examples and the main topic is covered. I think the thing that takes it down from great to good may be somewhat person with reading style.

The book is full of fluff. Childhood stories from his past. Obvious thoughts about starting a business. Luckily I bought the book used or I would return it.The whole point of the book is to get you to become a customer of his. Listen to his podcast. Go to his website. Nothing in the book is something you don’t already know. I definitely feel scammed. Ugh….

This book is worth 100 times what it is being sold for. Your ability to generate and manifest is unmatched. Your generosity with your knowledge, support and connections has absolutely revolutionized the way I go about my life and my business. I will never be able to repay you for your influence, what I can do, though, is make the most of myself with what I have learned from you and men and women like you.

This short book does have some good info on how to start a free mastermind, however it was overshadowed by the constant links to the author's websites and useless testimonials that didn't serve the content, only the author. This book is an obvious trip wire offer to get the author more clients, which I'm totally okay with - if it was done right. I've purchased many such books by the marketing greats: Frank Kern, Brendon Bruchard, Russel Brunson and more. The difference is that they pile on the value, their books have much more meat on them and the only pitch is at the end, which is the logical place for it.The testimonials were the most annoying thing about this book because they came on early and were constant throughout the book - almost as much as the content. If instead of just telling how great the author is (which may be true) he could have presented them as case studies that showed how people put the lessons of the book into action and saw results, but they weren't. In the book, he continually talks about focusing on providing value and helping others with no pitches in the masterminds, but he didn't do it here.I'm sure Brad is a great guy and does great work, I was just disappointed with the structure of the book and I wish it showed in greater detail the tactics on how to structure and grow a paid mastermind.

While there's a bit of inspiration from testimonials, there is also plenty of practical advice as well.
