Not name brand - but certainly worth every penny!
I purchased these a few years ago for my Arlo system with low expectations due to being off-brand and significantly cheaper. Boy was I wrong! These solar panels not only lasted, but they kept my cameras charged without any issues. The pictures in this review are after the panels have been removed for an upgraded system, while a bit dirty they still perform great. Each panel comes with a mounting bracket that screws into the back of each panel. The brackets can be affixed to almost any surface with three small screws to hold the panels in place. To adjust the panels' position, loosen the winged nut at the top of the mounting bracket and tighten the wing nut once in the desired position. Having the panels south-facing with a decent slope allows for the best charging results. I would also advise that if your camera is in a higher-traffic area, these panels might not maintain the desired charge.Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this purchase and they lasted the entire duration of my cameras being up.

Best Investment In Home Security
We have an Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight Camera System with 3 wireless cameras on the outside of our home. We got them put up in January. We live in a high traffic area so the cameras get a lot of use. Needless to say by April we were sick of climbing up and down ladders to change out the batteries about every 4-5 days. I was nervous to buy something to attach to the system that wasn't their brand but the reviews convinced me. The panels were pretty easy to install. No issues with attaching them to the aluminum/wood backed Fascia on the side of our home. We pointed the face straight up since we have no shade. It took about a day for the solar panels to charge the already low batteries but after that they are steady reading battery power of 90-100% at all times. It has been 5 months and we have not been back up a ladder to replace a battery since! Tropical storm force winds just came through and they didn't move! Anyone with a wireless Arlo system needs these in their life! Would recommend 100%

Great solar panel for any Arlo camera with magnetic connector
Whenever I looked at reviews of solar panels for Arlo cameras, I was skeptical because some users always stated that the batteries went dead when connected to the solar panels. When using solar panels, they will maintain a battery charge. They will not charge a dead or nearly depleted battery to 100%. The battery should be nearly 100% charged when installed in the camera. I have used the panels for about a week and do not see any problems with the batteries. If you drill holes to mount the panels, a bonus is a sticker to adhere to the wall to mark the holes. However, the panels are light enough that two vinyl siding clips will hold them up. I suggest using a dummy vinyl siding clip for the third hole to flatten the bracket.Another installation tip is purchasing an extension cable for the wire from the same store. Therefore, one can conceal the wire for a long distant under the eve siding so that the panel is in sunlight.

5 out of 6 still working
I bought 6 solar panels (2 packs of 3). The first 2 that I installed to charge Arlo Pro4 cameras worked great for a few months. One of them failed which I noticed when that camera was no longer available. I put a plug-in charger on the camera and fully recharged it. I then reconnected the solar panel and the next day found that the camera showed greatly reduced battery charge. I disconnected the solar panel and the battery discharged at the same rate as it had before I installed the solar panel. I replaced the solar panel and it has worked properly for several months. I subsequently installed the remaining 4 solar panels and they have worked properly. I'm now considering which other solar panel to get for my 6th camera. As others have noted, these are trickle chargers. That said, I installed one on a camera that is activated several times a day (activity at back door and we have dogs) and over about a month the battery has gone from 25% to 62%. My cameras show from 98 to 100% battery when I check now and then.Gave 4 out of 5 as it is the closest to the 1out of 6 failure rate that I have experienced thus far. At this point I would buy these again simply because I expect other products likely have similar failure rates.

Keeps Cameras at 100%
Some of the other reviews said that these solar panels merely maintain your battery percentage and don't recharge the batteries. Well I had my 3 cameras at 95%, 95%, and 78% when I installed these panels. My yard gets good light so the two cameras that were at 95% were fully charged that same day. I was worried about the 3rd camera that was only 78%, 1) because it lost its charge faster than the other two due to a swinging tree branch that kept setting off the motion sensor and 2) because the solar panel was placed in a location that doesn't really get much direct sunlight. Over the course of the last week , I've watched the charge on that camera increase by 2-3% every day and now it's holding steady at 100%. So yes, the solar panels DO recharge your cameras, even cameras that are oversensitive and get triggered too often.I've only had the panels for about a week so I can't speak to the longevity of the product and I also can't speak to how well they are going to handle the winter season with snow and very little sunlight. Considering the cameras can last pretty long even without the panels, I imagine this set up will be fine. One of my cameras is installed really high up and I really don't like going up there on my ladder to charge the battery so I'm really happy with this product. I don't even usually write reviews, but I was so worried about the Arlo's battery life that I was tempted to return all my cameras but now I dont have to.
