This product was recommended to me from one of the dermatologists with whom I was rotating - they kept recommending this product to teenagers with oily skin (that aren't mature enough to handle a legitimate skincare routine), telling them to use it in the shower a few times per week. I have had oily skin and hair for as long as I can remember - it is priced affordably, so I figured I'd give it a shot.This stuff is NO JOKE. After use, you can feel that there is no oil left - nothing, zero, nada, zilch. I use it on my face and hair every other day, usually while I'm in the shower (just as recommended by that dermatologist), followed by my regular face wash - and moisturize/condition RIGHT after. I feel that I do not have as oily of skin/hair anymore, which is just so, so refreshing - if I go more than two days without using it, I can tell.It is definitely not a product for every day use - I think even use once or twice a week would be sufficient for most people that want to try it. This stuff dries you UP.A word of warning: it smells like sulfur/tar. The smell does not linger, but that is why I follow it up with my normal facewash. It does not smell up the cupboard/bathroom just sitting - you notice it when you get it out of the packaging and when you get it wet during use.

I used a sulfur soap that seems to be discontinued. This soap is a fine replacement, as it hasn't caused me any issues. I say, give it a shot.

I've always had itchy skin. I'm in my 40's, and I came across sulfur soap here on Amazon while looking for another product, so I thought I'd give it a try. Overall, I'm pleased with this product, which definitely helped my skin feel less itchy. It does leave a faint sulfur smell on my skin, but it dissipates pretty quickly. With daily full body use (with a washcloth), this bar lasted me a little less than three months. I'm going to try another brand, but I would buy this again if I don't find something that works better for me.

Everyone's skin is different I know but we had tried all sorts of recommended products in an effort to help lessen my 13-year old daughter's facial acne. We tried high dollar subscription products from a couple of different companies, along with a couple of other highly rated products but nothing was touching it and it was only getting worse. I was browsing some acne treatment items on Amazon when I saw this soap come up in the 'recommended for you' section based on what I was looking at. I remembered that I had used sulfur cream on occasion to spot treat pimples and it had worked so I figured, 'why no?' and ordered a bar of this soap. My daughter started using it about 2 weeks ago and she's had about a 90% reduction in the number of pimples and blackheads on her face. We're talking a complete 180. She is using it once or twice a day, it varies from day to day. She does make it a point to always use it before bedtime. She says that it makes her face feel 'tight' (i.e, dry) but her skin hasn't peeled or anything and her skin looks better than it has in a long time. This product has been great for her skin and I'd easily recommend it to anyone looking for a low-cost treatment item to keep in your acne prevention arsenal.

Like I aint gonna lie fam, my skin wasn't the most moisturized out there but holy- did this dry the hajibies out of my skin.I thought I had scabies (I don't) so i got this to help with the itching, wow, well it burns a little after using it, i don't mind the burning sensation but yikes does it dry your skin out.Also, I heard this is for acne as well, well, as embarrassing as it is to myself, I do have issues with bacne, so I thought it'd be a plus because it'd help it. No, it just made my skin dry, the bacne is still there.I don't really mind the scent of sulfur, it's an odd but satisfying smell to me but it doesn't mean I wanna smell strongly of it. Thankfully it doesn't linger on me, just smells when you use it.So if you want a product that'll dry out your skin, this is the one for you.

Product is helpful and delivered on time.

I periodically breakout on my back/shoulders/arms, and sulfur soap washing in the shower for a week usually clears me right up. This soap is no exception--it works great and exactly as sulfur soap should. I was a little caught off guard by the scent, though; in the past, all sulfur soaps I've bought smell very intensely of sulfur, as one would expect. This one, however, has added fragrance which gives it a somewhat zesty smell, in addition to sulfur. Didn't bother me, but some people who are sensitive to added fragrance may not be a fan of it. Overall, I would recommend this product.
