A friend of mine for a gingerbread house as a gift for Christmas and it was so pretty. I went to the store where it was bought and they didn't have anymore so I ordered this one online and I love it. Very pretty and well made.

This lighted house added to my holiday decorations perfectly! It looked great in the middle of my table. It was shipped quickly and was more than I expected. It will be displayed on my table for many years to come. I highly recommend this item, and not to mention it was about $100.00 cheaper than in stores in my area!

Beautiful item! Perfect size. Well crafted and lovely for the holidays. Looks almost like a real gingerbread house but better!

Amazon's packaging was great. However, the packaging that the item originally came in was not. The styrofoam had deteriorated and tiny pellets were all over the inside of the box and inside the ginger bread house. There is no way to get the pellets out of the gingerbread house and you can see them through the open windows. Also, the lighting cord was placed on the roof of the house and the metal part cut through a slat on the roof of the gingerbread house. It appears that one of the decorations on the roof is missing and the other side of the roof has discoloration. All in all, it looks like it was used for display and not brand new.I am not pleased with the item's condition and I am embarrassed to give this as a gift because of it. The idea of ordering online was to save time and now I will have to take time to take it back. Very disappointed!

Beautiful Kurt Adler house with magnificent candy details. Great size. One of my favorites! Outstanding quality!

I can’t begin to imagine the working conditons under which this gingerbread house was made. The “bow” over the door is droopy and falls in on itself, and of course it’s “clay-dough” so it can’t be fixed. There are indelible smears of red paint on the roof. Quality control—uh, no. The idea is darling, and if it came as pictured, that would have been okay, but the craftsmanship is shoddy. The cost of materials (and labor!) is minimal. For the price, this ought to have been of far higher quality. At least it wasn’t broken. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Better late than never.
