Carimee Pocket Knife Folding Satin Blade Stedemon BP02 Gentlemen Knife Orange Smooth Opening Thumb Stud

I've been eyeballing this folder for some time now. Probably a good year. In that year I probably added 62/79 to my collection. most of them bought on Amazon. I think i am pretty qualified to say that this is a very nice knife. Admittedly when I first got it I was a bit leery. The blade wasn't centered. It was a little dull. So I did what I do to every single knife that I get. As soon as I'm unboxing play with them feel them out. I strip them down. I take apart the knife I go over the components. Can I see what I'm getting for my money. And I also take that time to clean every part of the knife. Some of these factories are not the cleanest they have not the best grease quality or oil quality and you would be amazed at how much a knife comes to life once you do this. My knife has grown a personality of itself. I absolutely love it it's fun to flip it's gorgeous I hand it to my friends and they're impressed. There for you really should get this knife a chance I think with a little TLC you absolutely love it

You get what you pay for. It’s a great knife for the price but my point and blade chipped within the first week doing nothing more than adjusting a sprinkler nozzle. Also I have to keep tightening the clip about once every 3 week because of the design. Overall for the price it’s not a bad knife and if you happen to lose it who cares.

I collect knives of all kinds and this one has been relatively well received by reviewers so I had an eye on it. At the time I purchased this, there was a 20% off coupon which made this knife $24, so 4 stars. At that price, it's a decent value, but the $30 regular price is a bit of a stretch (3 star value). 440c steel (which is a fine budget steel) and plastic scales are entry level materials, which is expected for sub $25. What's very good about the knife is it's action as it runs on bearings and that is not normally seen at $25. I recommend cleaning and oiling the pivot for best results. A tiny bit of blade play that can be tightened up at the expense of the ultra quick action. Thumb studs are a little sharp so it likely won't be a fidget toy. I like the sleek, modern design. Feels good in the hand...no hot spots. It came with what I consider a working edge, but I spent 5 minutes on the strop to make it shaving sharp. The pocket clip uses only one screw, so it can swivel on it's axis and become off center...not a huge deal, but it's a thing. It does go in and out of the pocket very well with no snags. All in all, if you like the design and it's on sale, it's solid for light duty folder for EDC tasks (packages, letters, cardboard...etc). It's better than a Kershaw in that price range due to the action.

Well made and arrived very sharp. Not assisted opening, but can be opened with one hand if you are good with thumb studs. Really nice blade design.

Not a bad deal for what I paid. But, the handle has a plastic casing on it so the knife end of the blade is very unbalanced. The pin you use to slide the blade out of its closed position is to close to the hinge and the actual handle and it’s very difficult to pry open (a small bit of WD40 did help a little later with this). Knife needed very little sharpening out of the box and was ready to go. In the end this was a knife a purchased for every day use in a warehouse so I knew what I was getting into when I purchased it. I don’t dislike this knife but I don’t love it either.

It’s a good quality, the blades a little wide. Not my favorite look.

I love this product and I hope know that my dad will love this product for Christmas. The knife opens smoothly, it is decently sized about like 6 inches when the knife is shut. And opened irs probably like 9 inches. I love this knife and its great.

I was very excited about this knife for the look and from the internet hype. I was very disappointed. It has the weakest detent of any knife I own. The scales feel very cheap, the blade was dull to the point I could run my finger across it. The pocket clip started rotating the first day I carried it. Nice looking knife, who’s it was better. Maybe I just received a dud.
