I ordered these, hoping that they would be as good as the anchor ones that I have but they’re actually better. They are a tiny bit smaller but the quality is better. There are no seams that can slice fingers like my anchor ones have. I’m thrilled with them and they were cheaper per mug!

This is a review/comparison of this no-name overseas brand of bistro/cafe coffee mugs. All of the photos show my Anchor Hocking (AH), Made in USA, mugs on the left. I bought my AH years ago when I came across a screaming deal and thought they would be tempered like their measuring cups. I believe I was wrong on that point because a number came up with heat related cracks over time. These mysterious mid-vessel cracks would not start at any edge nor would they appear to have come from impact showing no chips at any point. Of course, the previous deal is not to be found and the price for AH mugs is now prohibitive.AH POSITIVES: To my mind, the AH only win on 2 points and they're both aesthetics. They are slightly more graceful with a rounded bottom which results in a little more height and the lip is ever so slightly thinner. The more rounded bottom also improves stir free edition of creamers, etc.AH NEGATIVES: At the mouth of the cup there is a slight lip on the inside which is not painful, but annoying, when drinking. They also suffer from poor finishing. There is an irritating burr all the way around the handles. Very noticeable every time you pick them up.The overseas (OS) cups are the exact opposite with a great price. 😁 Smooth handles and rims. I also believe their handle design allows for a more comfortable hold. The OS hold the same volume which they achieve by maintaining the full diameter lower into the base.Hopefully these points can be seen in the photos. At the time of this review, one Amazon seller wanted over $40 for a single AH replacement cup. Alternatively these OS cups were under $30, delivered, for a set of 8. I will keep 4 in my limited kitchen cabinet space and store the other 4 in the nicely designed styrofoam packing. There is nothing in English that indicates the country of origin or company name of manufactur. Hopefully these are available for you if this is something you're looking for. They are a very pleasant surprise for me!

We order these mugs for guest dinners. When they arrived the first time, all but one mug was broken in the box. We contacted Amazon and they were replaced immediately with no hassels! The second set showed up, with much better packaging and we are very pleased! Will purchase again in the future!

These are what I've been looking for so long and trying to find. They are pretty I like this style. And I like that these came in a set of 8, well packed top and bottom in foam, nothing broke, thick, sturdy and well made, in 15 oz, and that you can put them in the dishwasher, microwave, and freezer. I had a few of these years ago and I loved them, and I've been looking ever since to get a set. I don't know what happened to the few I had. I was unable to find them anywhere again. I'm happy to have a set of 8 now that I will use for everything. I like to see my coffee in the morning thru my mug, it gives a more better coffee drinking experience. I like everything about these mugs. They are modern and classic looking, and I think they are the best. I hope you never stop making these. Thank you! I just received these, and they look good, very good packaging, nice and tightly cushioned to prevent any breakage during transit. I received all of them in-tact, no breakage, and no chips on the rims.The Good:1) Thick-walled glass, giving them some 'heft' but not too heavy.2) Nice large handle so you can get at least 3 fingers into it to get a good hold.3) Very decent price.The Bad:These are 'NOT' 15 oz. I filled one to the brim it is 14.37 oz (425 ml), so they are really only suitable for a 12 oz cup of coffee, if you want to leave some room for a creamy top or foam. A 12 oz serving will give you about 1/2 inch of head space.I will see how they hold up in use?

These mugs are just perfect. Purchased for bridal shower parting gifts and they were a huge success. They are sturdy and ate easy to hold with a strong thick handle and the bottom of the mug is very sturdy as well. The size is perfect for a cup of coffee or tea. My youngest wants chocolate milk in it all the time. My tea stayed hot for a decent amount of time actually better than my other coffee mugs. They clean up very well in a dishwasher. Great mug

Finally a glass coffee mug where I have a comfortable grasp on the handle. I bought these to replace some cups I had for years. I had looked at many similar one's including Anchor Hocking and libbey. Even trying a few out, I didn't like any for various reasons.They are sturdy, well packed for shipping, are a nice clear unblemished glass. They are just a tad less tall than my original cup from Anchor Hocking... Not the new Anchor Hocking cups that look similar but lack durability.I loved them so much so, that I just ordered a 2nd set!Perfect! Just buy them!***Update*** I have been using this set for almost a month, I have put them in the dishwasher, fridge, had coffee and iced beverages in the along with microwaving soup and boiling water for tea. They are amazing! The price for eight is a great deal. If you break one, let's face it, their glass, if you drop on a tile floor they will most likely break. With that said, I am a clumsy and have dropped the cups in the sink on the wood floor and knocked them over. Told you I was clumsy. Not one has broke, but if one does, it's okay.Thinking of giving a few sets for Christmas

Really nice mugs and just what we wanted, unfortunately one was damaged but Amazon dealt with my issue and resolved it within two days of me contacting them. Amazon is the place to shop, plenty of choices of goods for all people, whatever you want you will find it at Amazon. 5 star service.
