Very good taste

By far the best dulce de leche. Used it for a chocotorta. Soft, perfect consistency. Easy to melt down. It was delicious. I always push this brand to anyone looking to buy.

My local library is hosting a monthly Cookbook Book Club - we borrow that month's book, pick a recipe that we'd like to try, and then we bring our prepared item to a potluck meeting. This month's book was Nadiya Bakes, and it had recipes that called for items I'd never tried before. Like Dulce de Leche. For context, this was one of the ingredients in a 3 layer brownie: - a dark chocolate chip brownie as the base - dulce de leche w/ toasted nuts atop - and a cream cheese layer above that - then dusted w/ cocoa powder awesome! so, re the dulce de leche, it had a wonderful caramel flavor but it was less sweet than the caramel sauces I'm so used to great as a supporting actor in this recipe. I could see using it with other deserts - w/ cheesecake or ice cream or . . . ? the whole concoction was rich and delicious without being poisonously sweet. I know this because my super picky (and very slim) husband ate a bit . . . & then went back for seconds. So I give thumbs up to the dulce de leche and also to an intriguing cookbook

Dulce de leche has always been one of my favorite sweet!! And I had tasted many different and good brands. San Ignacio is very good for the price! The packaging & Service very professional. Thanks for the Bonus! yummy!
