Nice bright, sharp display
These are great! Got mine up and running very quickly on a Raspberry Pi Pico. I will probably pick up a couple more of them . . . unless the missus says "No"Mine came with the J2 header pins soldered on - Display and Touch lines. I needed to add my own pins on the opposite end of the board for J1 - SD card linesGood documentation can be tough to find but it's out there. It is important to note that the logic level is 3.3V which is great for interfacing with the Pico or with PIC micros running at that voltage. J2 pin 1 (VCC).The backlight is Pin 8 (LED) and looks best at 5V. Personally I would not use resistors to make a 3.3V supply from the 5V one. The backlight will use much more current than the ILI9341 controller

Works, but you need to be careful with the wiring.
All modules on the board worked, once I figured out the wiring.TFT and TS: MOSI, MISO, CLK, CS, DC, TS_INT all needed voltage dividers to get to 3.3V lines (on Uno and Mega devices, haven't tried ESP32). Arduino -> 2.2K -> card pin(s) -> 3.3K -> GND.I tied VCC and RESET directly to 3.3v, GND to GND, 5v to the LED.The SD lines are all 5V lines. So, for example (technically), Arduino MOSI -> SD MOSI -> 2.2K -> TFT MOSI, TS MOSI -> 3.3K -> GNDOne Arduino pin managed all 3 device modules for each of MISO, MOSI, CLK (3 pins total, one for MISO, one for MOSI, one for CLK).Nice little card, I'll be picking up more.

RST overrides all other signals
I control this board with a 74HC4050 level shifter on a proto board for logic in the 3.3v range. The examples work best if RST is just held high with a 47K resistor to 3.3v. The resistor value is not critical. The code should leave TFT_RST defaulted. If all TFT_ signals are specified the drivers code must use software SPI, which is much slower than hardware SPI. Otherwise great board, with a sharp display. Haven't tried the SD socket or touch screen functions yet.

Good display, but requires logic level shifters if your CPU's output logic pins are 5v
Even though the description states "...5V compatible, use with 3.3V or 5V logic..." my display would not work until I added resistor dividers on the output pins of my Arduino Mega 2560 to lower the logic level from 5v to 3.3v. You can power the display with 5v, but the logic control pins must be 3.3v logic. Good display otherwise. I did not test or use the touch feature or the SD card I/O. The resistor divider: Arduino pin (1k5 resistor) display pin (3k3 resistor) ground

I have 4 of these for various projects... they work well... easier to use than my nextion but also different uses

Works but no documentation and a little different than some
I have it working on an Arduino R3 using a level shifter. Powering it with 3.3V. No sure it works straight from 5V supply and logic and didn't want to damage it to find out. Using Adafruit ILI9341 and GFX library and hardware SPI.Some things to note:1: You must tie the LED pin to VCC2: If using hardware SPI you must specify CS, CD and RST in the constructor.3: Software SPI is VERY slow and almost useless unless you're only printing text.Once I got it working it looks pretty good. Haven't tested SD card reader or touch screen yet. Will update

Cheap for a reason
Two different Raspberry Pi, several different driver builds with 3+ attempts each, multiple full image rebuilds, checked all the appropriate points with the multimeter with proper results. I'm not even getting the backlight to come up, neither with the Pi or on a breadboard. Not sure if I got a defective product or if this thing is just a bad product. I wouldn't recommend. Bought a different screen purpose built for the pi to use instead.

Works, but at a cost
Display works fine. Schematic and dimensions on the product listing are inaccurate. I'd prefer to know exactly what I am buying and I am sure others can say the same. This is compounded by the false advertising of 5V compatible logic levels. Will be looking elsewhere in the future
