This works well to separate food items that are to be frozen.I don't know if they are actually "wax paper" sheets, they feel more like parchment paper.Although it hasn't happened to me, you may have moisture wicking into the paper before the item is fully frozen (which will make the paper stick to the item afterwards).I usually thaw out my items before separating so it's not a problem but if you try to separate while frozen you may have an issue.

I got these for when I grind brisket into 5” patties to freeze. There are cuter ones but I don’t want the smell of dye and like that these are unbleached. It gives the attes a butcher shop look and I really love that.

I bought these rather than cutting up parchment paper for making smash burgers on my griddle. I didn't have to waste my time making "little ones out of big ones"! These are sized perfectly for a 7" smash burger.
