I looked through many places to find ceramic caps and simply couldn't find them. These worked fine right up to the point I over loaded them and pumped about 10x the amps through them. Once the magic smoke left I just couldn't put it back.Given the speed required for my RC discharge times these fit the bill and so far there have been no problems. Other than me.

Overall, I think this is a really good value. The capacitors work well and are within tolerance.There is a pretty good selection of values.My only concern is that the capacitor values are not in a logical order for me.I used my computer to print a new layout for the capacitors in order of value from least to greatest, and taped it to the inside of the lid and reorganized the caps in their little compartments.As other reviewers noted, there is one duplicate value. 0.1uf and 100nf are the same value, so there are twice as many of those.

Nice set of capacitors.However, there are 23 values and not 24 as already mentioned in other reviews: the top left ( 0.1uF) is the same as the bottom right (100nF).Looks like they decided to screw up the layout of this box just to hide the fact that they only have 23 values and twice the number of 100nF transistors. So instead of having the top left compartment containing the smallest capacitor (10pF) they decided to shift everything by 10, and now the smallest capacitors are in the 11th compartment (2nd row, 5th column)...Of course it's really not a big deal and I'll just reorganize the box. It's simply just stupid to do that.Also, they capacitors 221 and 331 are indicated as 200pF and 300pF respectively. However they are 220pF and 330pF respectively (a capacitor XXY has a value of XX * 10^Y pF).

Purchased these the other day to do a school project and I didn't expect them to come in so quickly. Very happy with my purchase and will be buying from them again!

I checked the values and they are totally out of tolerances.. I used two different instruments and the values are not what I expected..I have not yet tested if they can withstand 50v--will update when testing..I have used other vendors and their values were withing the tolerances specified..

It’s a fine assortment of capacitors. The case and labeling is handy. I like that they include the capacitor codes for easy identification.

Using these capacitors for prototyping with perfboard. Wide array of values, small size helps with this.
