The dress is beautiful in person. The material is a heavy cotton blend, which I liked. I did have difficulty putting the dress on due to the crisscross. Once I got it on it fit great. The only complaint is the way the midsection was made. There is no give in the midsection and it was not sewn as a proper gathering. I'll add a belt to the dress to make it more flattering. Overall I love the dress and it is perfect for the African birthday I have to attend.

It's an absolutely beautiful dress!! I used it for an african theme engagement shoot. I got compliments all over even from the photographer himself. I am a plus size with small boobs and bought a 3XL which worked perfectly well. The bust and waist area was slightly loose but with the design of the dress, that's the only way for you to get it above the neck area (a bit tricky to put on). Padded bras was used to fill the little extra spaces at the bust. It is has more length than in the display picture but the overall design did justice to the look that I wanted regardless. I would soooo recommend this dress to someone that wants a modest, classy and elegant african look.

Let me tell you something about this dress........GET IT!! The only reason why I gave 4 stars is b/c I looked at the wrong size chart when ordering & its a little small around the breast & neck part. I can live with that...I know a great alteration shop lol!! I refused to send this dress back without putting in the energy in fixing the product. This print & fabric is just wonderful. The pockets are roomie, the length is just right & its BEAUTIFUL. Love it!!!!

This dress was not made for me. I ordered the 2XL since this brand runs small and it was too big for me in the chest and the straps were too long therefore ended up too long but the waist fit well. For these reasons I did not bother ordering a smaller size as I knew it would not work. The material is great and looks like the picture but it did not fit well.

I really really love this dress! I am usually a medium but I saw some people say it ran a bit small so I went for a large. I wish I went for a medium but it still looked great on. I am smaller up top so the large was too big for me up there but other than that it fit well. I LOVED the length and it was very gooey and feminine. Overall love it! Just would order closer to my true size next time.

I normally wear a 3x comfortably I ordered a 4x and it was to small, to tight around the neck and I couldn't even zip it up all the 2way. I have a butt and when I bent over you could see my all. I'm only 5'2

I just wanted an African dress and this one is cute and exceeded my expectations! It’s well made and fits well. I’d do one size up .

The dress was very pretty, but the sizing seems way off. I ordered up a size, and the bottom was very very full. The waist fit snug, but was okay. However, the top portion of the dress was about 2-3 sizes smaller, and I don’t have a large bust size.
