If you want cotton rim tape, you want Velox.
The original and best. Thick, durable, easy to use and adheres nicely. Cotton rim tape is not in vouge any more for a variety of reasons, but if you have a set of particularly troublesome wheels this tape might be just what the Dr. ordered.

Good stuff
Authentic, tough, sticky. It'll keep your tubes from pushing into your spoke holes and cutting.

Could be a bit stickier, but it's much tougher and more secure than my stock rim strip.
Got this to replace some crinkly old stock rim strips on a single speed.It would be good if it was a little bit stickier, but after pressing it down onto the spoke nipples and around the rim, it seems quite secure. And it's a lot tougher, thicker, and more attractive than the old rubber rim strip.It really is beautiful stuff and it's nice to work with. As long as it holds, I'll consider this my go-to rim strip.

Why the bad reviews??
Yeah, I really can tell for the life of me why people are saying that this is a bad item. The adhesive on the back was more than adequate enough for my application. I'm sure it's pretty much the same as everybody else's application. I don't get it. I used it as per the container said, Time will only till but as far as I'm aware it'll do its job more than adequate. good tape. I definitely would buy again and let other know that it's good.

Horrible adhesion
As others said the adhesion is horrible with this tape, I cleaned the rim twice, made sure it was dry, and it will not stick to the carbon.I guess I’ll go back to gorilla tape and wish I did waste my money on this tape.

Simple et efficace
J’ai acheter ce lot de 2 bandes pour sa matière résistante à la place des fonds de jantes d’origine âgés de 14 ans . Pour deux jantes de 28 pouces, la mise en place est très facile ,autocollantes et résistantes . Je le recommande .

Good replacement rim tape. Strongly consider.
Appropriate size, good quality as described. Used to replace current rim tape. Holding up really well, no rim-induced punctures so far.Happy overall.

Great product, will buy again
Really good, solid tape. Self adhesive so it doesn't move and quite pliable for such thick canvas, so t pushes down deep inside the rim.This is much better than the PVC Schwalbe tape that came fitted to my wheels and I will be purchasing this again for any new wheels I happen to get in the future.
